  • Works great and pretty fast.
Style: Nugget/Pebble Ice Maker
Easy to use. Puts out good amount of ice. Sometimes I turn it off because too much ice in my ice storage box in freezer and can’t hold anymore. Not too loud to be noticeable in normal day to day life in the house.

  • Best pebble ice maker!
Style: Nugget/Pebble Ice Maker
I love this pebble ice maker! I’ve recently been really addicted to good crunchy pebble ice and this machine satisfies all craving! It works fairly quickly with minimal noise to make little pebble/pellet ice. Though keep in mind it can be a little noisy. Like a low pitched grinding noise but it doesn’t bother us. I can hear it from the top of the stairs at night but I don’t notice it otherwise during the day. It fills up fast enough for our needs. My husband and I fill our 2 40oz water bottles and use the rest of the ice throughout the day. The ice has the perfect soft crunch. Initially I was worried about how to store the ice once made but the machine does a great job of keeping it cold enough! I no longer use the ice bin I bought for my freezer. The machine will automatically run again when ice levels get too low. We purchase purified water gallons to fill it with. About half a gallon fills it to the max line and that lasts us usually 2 days before refilling. So far very easy to clean. I just run the clean cycle then empty it into a mixing bowl from the spout underneath. I would drain directly into the sink but it’s on the other side of my kitchen and kinda heavy to lift/unplug. It is kinda hard to keep the front clean. Theres always fingerprints on it no matter how much I wipe them off. It does come with a scoop but I bought a magnetic one that I keep on the front of the machine. I prefer for the scoop not to sit in the ice bucket in the machine. ... show more

  • Favorite type of ice
Style: Nugget/Pebble Ice Maker
This icemaker is an absolute life saver. My son and I can't drink water without ice so we go through a TON of ice. So when the ice maker on our fridge died panic ensued. A good friend recommended this icemaker, apparently he bought several of these for his office and all his employees love it. It's very easy to clean, makes the ice fairly quickly and isn't terribly loud. Our friend did print out a magnetic 3D scoop holder as the machine doesn't come with one. ... show more

  • Good unit for nugget ice.
Style: Nugget/Pebble Ice Maker
I have owned many nugget ice machines and this one is a very good option for smaller volume and spaces. Not sure how the auto start works after you remove ice? The drain plug is an easy way to drain the unit. It would be nice if you could attach an additional water tank.

  • Stopped working after 8 months
Style: Compact Bullet Ice Maker
It would seem that I share a common problem with people on this item. I purchased this unit back in Febuary, and it worked fine up until now. I began to notice that the unit was creating a slimy discharge, so I hit the cleaning function several times and cleaned the water basin with soapy water. Added new, clean water, hit clean again, drained and dried it, added fresh water. The slime returned about a week later. Next new thing to happen....I would turn it off at night to conserve energy since it would not be in use. Upon waking up, the unit turned itself on...weird, but ok. It did this regularly as time progressed, to the point where I wouldnjust unplug it to make sure it stayed off. And now, the best part. The unit started making these clicking sounds when the compressor fired up or when it would pump water. It would click several times, the compressor would shut down, and the restart would begin over and over. I thought that maybe it was overheating due to the fact that it was near my radiator, so I moved it to a different location. After waiting 40 minutes to be sure it cooled down, I turned it back on...it started clicking again, then all of the lights on the display lit up and the large ice cube light started to flash off and on. At this point, I am thoroughly fed up and just decided to use the ice maker on my fridge. Customer service is a joke...don't even try to contact them, for only an act of God would yield any results. Save your money by buying from someone else. ... show more

  • Great Ice Machine!
Style: Bullet Ice Maker
I've only had this for a couple weeks, and so far nothing negative. This machine rocks as follows: -Love the stainless steel, sleek design. Matches everything in my kitchen. Machine is taller than I realized, so be sure you've factored in spacing required for going under cabinets in kitchen, or put in open space with nothing above it. Mine fits comfortably under a cabinet. -Performs as expected. Inside stays clean. We use purified water only for ice cubes, which reduces and even eliminates staining. No smell inside or out. -Super easy to start and stop. You're only going to be using the start and select buttons. That's it. Easy to clean and wipe down. Water resistant. -Not super loud. Pretty minimal IMO. -Creates ice pretty quick but allow it to go through several cycles of you want more ice. -To prevent ice from melting once dispensed in basket, I scoop it out immediately and put it in a Ziploc freezer bag. Each time ice is dispensed I do it again. Pull the bag out of the freezer and repeat process...scoop ice in, seal and put back in freezer. This way we have a whole gallon size bag full of ice in the freezer ready to be used that same day or next day. This does mean you'd have to be on standby, but I love doing it this way. Ice generally doesn't freeze together either making it difficult to break apart once in freezer. When I put the full bag of ice in my freezer, I lay it flat so there's no ice clumps. Easy peasy. The only negative thing IMO is that this product doesn't come with a magnetic strip or fixture of some kind to be able to keep the white scoop stored on the side when not in use. Not a deal breaker, though...my husband and I plan on investing in one just to keep the scooper off the counter. I usually sit it on top of the machine where the window is. Still a 5 star product. ... show more
