I bought this ice maker because we are always buying bags of ice from the Dollar Store to fill up the kid's gallon sized water jugs for sports. I could only fit 4 or 5 ice cube trays in my freezer at a time and it takes hours for them to freeze. The first few cycles took FOREVER!! but then after that things sped up. The ice maker doesnt have a freezer section to hold the ice cubes it makes so you have to transfer them to your freezer. I bought the big 2-gallon sized ziplock bags to hold the ice in. That way I can break it up easily if it all freezes together. I can easily fill several of those big 2gallon size bags in a day. ... show more

Ice maker makes ice, sometimes. Once in a while it has only water. We have to power it off and then it’ll start producing ice again. It’s becoming frustrating. The add water light has never came on, that’s frustrating as well. I would not recommend.

This works amazing, I did not realize how large and heavy it is. It is twice as large and twice as tall as an average toaster, but it still delivers the ice. It is very easy to use. Also, I think for The money I spent it is well worth it
