    • Nice ice bath, fits well and has a thermometer
After trying my ice bath my husband decided he wanted one. I ordered this one for him. It has the same features as mine except this one comes with the floating thermometer. My husband is 5'11" and about 190 lbs. He fits into this tub nicely with his knees drawn up. There is no way he could stretch out his legs, as most people could not do this in any of the portable ice baths. You're not in there for very long, so this isn't a big deal. This is simple to set up, comes with a cover, and once drained, you can leave it set up and refill it as needed. We leave ours filled with water, drain some off the bottom to accommodate adding ice before each use, and then put the cover on until the next day. We clean it with a 10% bleach solution weekly for sanitizing purposes and then refill. So far there are no leaks, it holds up well and appears to be made well. ... show more

    • Affordable and Functional Ice Bath
This is an affordable ice bath to check out and see if you are up for it and if you think it is worthwhile. It is easy to set up and take down. Adding the ice to it is the manual labor part of the job to get the water cold. I have tried to have it between 45-50 degrees F for ice bath dips. I do believe the ice baths help with sore muscles and inflamed joints. I would recommend them. You can add a water chiller to an ice bath like this to keep the water cool. You would have to place the hoses over the top but that is doable. And if you find you don't use it, you are not out much money with this one. It can be set up inside or outside. ... show more

This keystone ice bath turned out to be better than I expected. I was expecting something thin and flimsy, and this ice bath was the opposite. The pvc is good quality, and holds up well. I am a little concerned with the support legs being as thin as they are but they are holding up well so far. It took about 20 min to fill and I used 3 bags of ice and that did the trick for me. The ice bath comes with a cover, but I am unable to keep the bath set up. It was easy to drain and it drained fairly quickly. I ended up using a duffle bag I had to hold the ice bath and allowed me to be able to store it. Overall this ice bath is a good value buy at this price. It would have been nice to have a nice storage bag included. ... show more

I'm new to cold plunging. Just finished listening to the entire ultimate human podcast. I started with taking cold showers at the end of hot showers. Now I've graduated to complete immersion up to my head. So far I've had not had to put an ice cubes in because I leave this on my back porch. It gets in the high 30s at night so this water's pretty cold. I threw out one inch chlorine pool tablet in so that mold wouldn't grow in it and I keep it covered when not using it. I've also found a 8 lb ice cube mold on Amazon that I bought. Haven't had to use it yet but this top works great. Doesn't make it any easier but I love how I feel after 3 minutes of cold immersion. ... show more

    • Nice value for this ice bath
I am a fan of cold plunging, and I recommend it. The health benefits and anti-inflammatory properties are truly a worthwhile endeavor. Take deep breaths, control your breathing, and you will adjust quickly. This ice bath was big enough for my 6'02" frame, though I do have a nagging knee injury that causes some flexion issues, so folding my legs to completely submerge was a bit of a challenge for me. Set up was quick and painless, and I was suprised at how sturdy this ice bath is. I hope it holds up over time with normal use. For the price, this is a really nice surprise. This is a small size pool of sorts. Throw in some water and ice cubes and you have yourself an ice bath that helps with muscles and aches. This was super easy to blow up and fill. It holds up nicely to having a person in it along with alot of ice. It is easy to move from one space to another. Easy to drain as well. ... show more
