    • Solid value and certainly improves hearing ability
I bought these after a different CIC hearing aid didn't fit my ear canal, which is small I guess. These are less expensive, have the same features, and fit much better. I haven't worn hearing aids before, so I don't really know what to expect with "noise cancellation", but these seem to pick up all sounds, they don't differentiate between a voice or the hum of a refrigerator. I believe I read somewhere that with time the brain sorts out the important sounds from those less important. The four stars are for two main reasons - the first being no "noise cancellation" that I can hear; the second is the issue with supplies - domes and wax guards. The small domes are out of stock, the wax guards aren't on the iBstone Amazon store or on Amazon that I can find. As the hearing aid comes with one set of small domes and a package of wax guards, that isn't an issue today, but long-term I would like to be assured I can buy supplies when needed. I did write iBstone support and got a quick message back pointing me to a source on Amazon for the domes, so that was a big positive - support replies! ... show more

These are junk. Amplifies background noise more than people talking. Should not be advertised as a hearing aid.

    • They whistle when I'm putting them in my ears.
Although I have small hands, these are small enough that it seems like I have fat fingers as I put them in my ears. When my fingers push them into my ear they whistle until my finger is removed. That's the reason for these waiting 5 seconds after removing from the case before they power on. I wish that was 10 seconds or so. Other than that I like them after several hours my ears were not sore so the fit is ok too. At least I can turn down the TV and don't need headphones to hear it. ... show more

    • Small and economical for first time users.
As a first time hearing aid user I have been happy with the price and convenience of this product. It takes a little time to get used to the difference in hearing and adjusting for loudness, but not much. I will most likely purchase upgrades in the future.

    • Easy to use and charge
The hearing aids improved my mother's ability to converse 1:1 and hear the TV. She says they are comfortable to wear. The charging device is very easy to use. We were pleased with the inclusion of 3 different size ear buds, which were easy to change. The only reason for a 4 star vs. 5 star rating is the challenge we are having in managing the whistling. When adjusting the volume beyond half way from low to high, the whistling starts. We would like to increase at least one ear to close to full volume.     • Quality sound and great design features at an affordable price
I am very impressed by these features: Both aids can be used in my R ear. (Only my R ear has hearing, so I have a spare R aid rather than a useless L ear aid.) This is a wonderful design aspect that I could not find in any other hearing aids at Amazon. The sound quality is excellent--much better than I had expected. The carrying case, when charged, can charge the aids--a clever design feature. The price was affordable for me--an important factor. One improvement would be nice: A 10-second (rather than 5-second) delay would be better--to avoid the loud whistling when inserting the aid. ... show more
