I'm not super clumsy but I drop my phone as much as the average person, and sometimes from higher places because I'm tall. BUT my phone has not been damaged a single time. I take it apart and clean it every month or so with a sanitizer wipe to keep it clean and check on my phone (which is hidden inside the plastic part inside the rubber part of this phone case I'm reviewing). I got the phone case in Jan 2021 and haven't replaced it yet. My little sister pulled off the protective part over the thumbprint a few months ago but the case still works great. This case is NOT water-resistant, and when water gets in it you have to take the case apart to clean the water off (or wait for it to air-dry, which sounds like a bad idea). I do NOT recommend treating this as a water-resistant phone case because it's not. I'd recommend this case for anyone, and I'll probably get another one later. In short: -Super durable, my phone has never cracked or been scratched (I also have a screen protector on the phone in the case) -Takes a sec to get a hang of taking the case apart -NOT water-resistant, water can get stuck in there and you have to take the case apart to dry it off -Can't use the fingerprint recognition very well with this case unless you rip that part off (which you can without ripping any other part of the case) -The protective part over the screen can get a little dirty and sticky (if you get your fingers sticky), so be sure to keep it clean so you can glide your fingers smoothly -The protective part over the screen is a few millimeters higher than the screen, so sometimes it takes a sec to detect the heat from your finger (that being said, it doesn't work well at all when your fingers are wet) -Make sure when you plug your phone in in the dark that you're plugging it into the plug and not the bottom part of the case (did that a couple times) -I still HIGHLY recommend a screen protector because it's about keeping your phone from breaking, and yes your touchscreen still works well with both a screen protector and this case -The case gets scuffed with time (mine has a few dark corners), but that happens with all cases. I don't mind the corners but if I start to mind I'll definitely buy another one exactly like it ... show more

This cover is for an iPhone SE. It has an outer (blue/teal) layer, and an internal white layer inside. The phone is inserted into the white layer and the white cover top snaps together. Then you insert the white inner layer into the outer layer and there is a ridge that the outer rubber layer is pushed into. The top piece white layer has a clear film attached that covers your screen . The clear film works well for the touch screen and even covers the home button and senses your finger print through it. The clear film will get print marks from your fingers, but can be easily wiped off the same as you would on the glass screen. It looks and feels a little like an Otter box case, but not as bulky/boxy. The case is not all soft rubber, but is hard plastic inner and outer, with the outer having a rubber-type rim/edge. The back side is matte and print resistant. It has a rubber cover that hinges open for the charging port and a rubber cover over the volume button. You have to hold the rubber hinge open in order to push in the charging cord, and/or to access your silence button, but that's not a big issue for me. As a positive, the cover does not interfere with the different type charging cords (as some covers don't make enough room for certain lightning cords to stay plugged in). Overall, I am confident that if dropped, it would protect it completely, front and back. ... show more

It’s a good case. Comparable to the case I had before. An Otterbox which I bought from Amazon. My phone could move around inside my old case just the tiniest little bit. I like these types of case, the ones that have a hard plastic underbelly but a rubber cover. You know the saying “No glove no love” well the rubber putter makes me love it. The protective screen is another matter entirely. The protective plastic topping seems to hover above so you have to push just a little more than you would if it didn’t have it. It’s out the push downwards your finger just sits there. Still not making sense, if you don’t have the case in and you touch your screen the apps opens, with the case if you touch the screen without the gentle nudge it does nothing. The other bug issues it the home button covering, which sucked so bad I removed it. Luckily that was easy to do. It was like the adhere cheap but oddly strong plastic wrap. Because it was wrinkly as my grandma, and would recognize my fingerprint. I even added a saved print with the case on and even then it would only work if I pushed the wrinkles out words first. So if you buy the case do yourself a favor and remove that and you case will be good to go. ... show more
