This is such a well made item! It comes in a really nice zippered plastic bag with handle. The lounger is shrink wrapped and starts to puff up as soon as the bag opens. I ordered the gray and it looks exactly like the picture once it has puffed up. I like that this lounger grows with my baby - you tie the bottom to make an oval nest for young babies, then untie it so the bottom is open for older babies. The padding in the bumper is quite nice and provides nice support. A couple of things I really like - first, there is no odor! The cover is removeable so you can wash the lounger and the bumper separately. The lounger is also a fairly standard size, so other lounger covers should fit. There is a handle at the top of the lounger - this makes it easy to carry it anywhere you go. With no effort, you now have a wonderful little bed for your baby. Great baby shower gift! ... show more

This comes vacuum packed in a smaller bag, so it's a surprise when you release it from the package and get this big, fluffed up cotton nest for your little one. We have little relatives visiting often and this works well in a bassinette, cradle, or a crib and cuddles and protects the baby with the soft edges. It has handles to make it easier to cart around. There is a really long hidden zipper at the top flap of the 'bump' that goes around about 75% of the lounger so you can remove it to wash the cover. We had a clear backpack that this item is easily folded up to put into so we can keep it clean and use it, as needed. So many things to appreciate about this and it's soft and seems so comfortable. I borrowed a friends Dock-a-Tot when my first grandson was born, and used it every time he came over for the first several months. Now we are expecting another grandbaby, and I wanted to have my own. When I shopped for Dock-a-Tot, I was stunned at the price, so I was looking for a more economical option. I think this is going to be great, although not quite the same quality. I like that it comes all in one piece (shrink wrapped, and you watch it "grow" once its out of the bag). There was no chemical smell. The sides are firm and the bottom has a nice amount of cushion (about 1/2-3/4" I would say). I don't like that you can see the zipper all the way around, and I also don't like the long ribbon tie at the ends. Would have liked it better if it was a buckle or something that wouldn't present a choking hazard. However, overall, I think this is going to work really well, and the price tag was right. ... show more

I think this is a perfect "nest" for a newborn to rest. It's soft and cushy. It's washable - the cover and bumpers are machine washable. It can "grow" with baby to a certain extent by loosening the ruching.

This is a soft lounger, ready to use out of the package and so convenient for traveling. It snuggle the baby nicely and I can see how it can replace having to hold them to fall sleep. This is a great gift for any newborn and it comes in so many different colors!!
