The media could not be loaded. This has been running for 2 months without a problem. Very attractive combination of olive green with the white numbers and gold trim makes it look more expensive than it is. Second hand works fine. Reads easily from across the room and it's completely silent. I wish they made more styles with this color combination. I need a large decorative clock for my wall and would love this color combination in one of those sunburst styles with spokes. This clock is 12 inches diameter. The clock looks in person the way it does in the photos. But it is not the sturdies clock in the world. You can feel the cheapness of the clock case, and up close the indexes/hour markers look like cheap plastic. They are. And the ad tells you that. And if you can get past this in your head, then it will look like on a wall. I had to return mine because it came with the seconds hand detached. That's an easy fix except I didn't try because the back case of the clock (which would need to be removed to reattach the seconds hand) is kept in place by molded clips--they seem almost impossible to remove without damaging the thin plastic (or breaking the clips). Still, intact the clock seems worth it--especially for the price. ... show more

The chrome numbers and clock hands stands out in good contrast against the black background. The rim is wide and will obstruct the view of the numbers if standing to the side of the clock. Runs silently. Mounted the clock by its rim, off an angled screw in the wall. There's no nail hole on the back of the clock. Hope this clock lasts.
