I bought this for my 67 oz hydrapeak (not the current one, but an earlier model) and while the lid fits well and functions well, the straw included doesn't reach the bottom of my bottle. I wouldn't be that surprised, but I think the listing said it was for any wide-mouth hp bottles so I'm a little disappointed on that front. Would be great for any of the smaller models though. ... show more

    • Cute lid, not durable
I bought a 40oz hydrapeak bottle from TJ max a while ago and I love it. however the handle on the original lid broke off after dropping it. I dealt with it for a while before I decided to order this as a replacement as the flip top straw would be more convenient than the screw top spout on the old lid. This lid does fit the 40oz bottle opening however the straw attachment is about 2 inches too short. Not a big deal, I figured at some point I would just find another straw to pop on to the cap. What really broke my heart was the fact that I have had this lid a little over a week and a massive crack has formed in it after dropping it. It still works but I know eventually the crack will develop and the lid will break completely. I know it is my fault for dropping it but it is a stainless steel water bottle. The bottle itself is very rugged and durable (it's stainless steel, duh). I wish the lids could take half the beating the bottle has. I'm torn whether I should order a new lid or see if there is some other compatible but more durable lid (surely one that won't match the pretty sage bottle). For now I will just have to enjoy what time I have left with my cracked lid. ... show more
