First off, these bar stools are gorgeous! Very easy to assemble and very sturdy! The only thing I don't like, is I have a butt! So sitting on them is a bit uncomfy, but doable and is the base does not connect to the "pole". So simply picking it up will cause a seperation. Other than, they are absolutely great, esp for the price! Hydrolics work good and the height adjustment can create reg seat height or very high bar seat height. ... show more

One of the seats had an uneven base- reached out to customer service who advised me to hammer it lightly to straighten it out (so the seat could be screwed one). They also gave me a $15 refund.

The chairs are great but has black paint scratched off one area of the arm of one chair. That same arm is also missing the plastic part that should cover the sharp end of the arm. The chair arm does not look nice at all and the sharp uncovered end is dangerous. UPDATE: I have updated to 5 stars. Their customer service reached out and rectified my issues with the chair in a timely manner. They sent 2 plastic caps that fit the arm nicely. We like this product very much ; they are very easy to set up, and sturdy when completed.; the only minor problem is the ARM covers: they are very thin and 4 already broken. We would like to ask you to make 10 NEW ARM COVERS WITH DOUBLE FAUX LEATHER AND SOME PADDING to make them last longer. I don't mind to pay more for these new COVERS. Or if you don't want to make new cover then please send me a piece of Faux leather so I can make them myself. Thanks ... show more

it’s literally only four screws and just a putting of a base with the stand trust me if I can do it anyone can do it. Also the height is perfect it goes up my counter from my island is 34 1/2 inches tall these are perfect if they go down far enough and they go up high enough easy to wipe off with a Lysol or Clorox wipes and clean the stand with Windex ... show more
