Purchased these storage bins to organize my husband's side of the closet. He was looking for something with an open top for easy access and these fit the bill really well. Here's what to know about these storage bins: -The back of the bin is slightly taller than the front which gives the bins a good accessibility feature and makes them appear more open. -These are pretty wide (16.5") and I was surprised to find that I could only fit one of them on each of our closet shelves. Yours may be wider than mine but know that these are spacious and wide. -These would be great for toys as you can see exactly what is in them and there is an easy label system. As long as you have an open shelving system, these would be perfect. -They have cardboard inserts that fold out and fit into the bottom to add strength and stability to the bins. Overall, they are pretty durable but I wouldn't put anything too heavy in them. They seem great for light toys, clothes, socks etc. but I would avoid anything that weighs more than 7 or 8 pounds. -If I could order these again, I'd select the white or gray color. I thought the yellow looked nice online but it's really a yucky khaki color. They're still functional but don't love the color. -These have handles on the front and back for easy movement. Again, great for kids or something that moves around your house frequently. Overall, I think these are a good buy. These are somewhat larger than I had envisioned, although to be fair I did not look too closely at the listing. They are basically like storage cubes in the way they fold and are put together, just of a different shape and dimensions. I like the fact that the front is lower than the back for easy and stylish access to whatever you may put in them. One downside is that they did have a slight outgassing smell upon opening. I tend to be sensitive to smells, and it was not bad compared with other such products that I have encountered, but it was still there. ... show more

Inside the clear plastic, the organizers are all folded flat and collapsed. We didn't find any instructions in the packaging, but assembly is very simple. You open up the fabric drawer and then put a solid base piece in the bottom. The bottom of the drawer is folded in half as well. It all feels like cloth to the fingers, and indeed seems like there's cardboard inside the cloth pieces. Once you assemble the base and the main unit together, it's fairly stiff and will stand by itself, not wanting to collapse. There is a pull handle in the front and on either of the narrow sides, and there is a clear pocket to the left of the handle in the front so that you can label your organizer compartments. These are all very lightweight and do not stack with each other. This will fit easily on a shelf. The assembled drawer-shaped organizer is too wide to fit in your standard square pocketed shelf system, (Think IKEA) but we did find that if you turned it sideways it would fit into the square shelving. These are more designed for a flat open shelf, like a bookcase or storage shelves. Strength-wise, these seem as strong as pretty much any other canvas-style storage device, but stand up well by themselves due to the cardboard inserts sewn inside the fabric outer exterior.     • Good closet storage solution.

These fabric closet storage bins are perfect for storing clothing or other smaller and lighter items. I have these in my closet for storing towels, underwear, hats, and other small items. They work great for items that I need quick and frequent access. The reason I prefer these to the other bins is the design of the front panel. This panel is lower than the rear panel (about half the height of the rear panel). This allows me to quickly see what is in the bin without having to grab the entire bin and look into it. The ability to quickly scan the contents of the bin is what really put this over the top for me. One thing that I think can be improved upon is the base panel. Right now, it is a single panel that’s is folded in half. When you assemble the bin, you unfold it and stick it on the bottom. This creates a minor issues because the crease for the fold is still there. When you carry the bin, often times the crease along with the weight of the items in the bin makes it a bit unstable and it wobbles sometimes. I really like these. Overall they are very similar to fabric storage bins you can get pretty much everywhere, but I like the slanted front of these especially for storing things in closets or on shelves. They keep things grouped and tidy but still visible and accessible.

I used these in my closet for clothes items, as well my linen closet for towels and bedding. They’re great, light weight bins, easy to assemble, and great price for a pack of 6. Because they’re fabric, the inclusion of the handles on the side is a great detail, otherwise they’d be wobbly to carry in/out, up/down after they’ve been filled. I used these bins to organize our bathroom closet. We had some shelving that items were spilling all over. These bins held all our larger items (hair dryer, curling irons, etc) and kept the cords under control, while also holding smaller bins that each family member uses for their toiletries. They slide easily back and forth on the selves with the attached handles, so it's easy to reach in and retrieve what we need. The only downside is these bins came with plastic label pockets attached to the front, but no pre-cut labels. I may eventually make my own labels, but it would've been nice it they had been included. ... show more
