  • MOON SUMMIT
First, we have done Death at a Dive Bar. It was great and a bit harder than the Cold Cases Unsolved games we had been doing (although we like them). We had no issues with any codes or anything not working. NOW for Moon Summit... This is the first "big box" we have done. We haven't done any of the other Hunt a Killer series boxes. It says 10-15 hours, my husband and I worked through the objectives in the first 5 boxes in about 4 hours. We are now on the 6th box. Boxes one and two are different objectives. Boxes three, four, and five are all eliminate a suspect boxes. A little disappointing as those objectives are fairly easy. The last box is to weed out between two suspects to determine who and why. I will say this, if I signed up for a subscription and got one box a month of eliminate a suspect for 3 months I would be disappointed. But, since I was able to get this box all at once, no big deal. For my final conclusions: 1 : I'm not sure an entire wilderness "journal" of blanks pages, except for the 4-6 pages of "park" information was necessary. Couldn't that have just been a trifold pamphlet? Why waste all that paper? This statement is more directed at Hunt a Killer. Please stop adding wasted paper products in your games. 2. The price point is ok. Especially here on Amazon where I don't have to pay for shipping. The only reason I ordered it was the $40 price drop and the free shipping. I'm not sure I would order on their website with the extra $15 shipping. I think more direct to market/free shipping games are the way to go. I don't think I can see myself spending $180+shipping. 3. Its great quality time with your other half. We will enjoy it. And, it creates a space where you work together for a common goal. Final thought: We would order another direct to market game from Amazon at $120-$140 price point! As well as more $30 price point, direct to market games!! ... show more

  • Great game for family
A fun game to play with the family over the holidays. A mite pricey.

  • Best Murder Mystery Games
I was unsure about this because of how expensive it is, so we started out with the Death at a Dive Bar box. My boyfriend and I liked it so much that we ended up getting the entire box set of Hunt A Killer Moon Summit Mystery, and it did not disappoint. The attention to detail is amazing, not to mention the awesome “evidence” that comes with it (there’s a usable flask included). This is really the perfect date night game if you’re sick of trying to find a show or movie to watch, and want to switch it up! We have already ordered more! ... show more

  • Moon Summit - A New Twist on Date Night!
My boyfriend got us the Hunt a Killer - Moon Summit Mystery complete box set for Valentine's Day and we had a blast. As true crime lovers, we had so much fun sifting through the evidence and reading the case files to uncover the mystery. Hunt a Killer does an excellent job putting these boxes together - everything is so well thought out from the evidence, to the clues, to the online portal that they developed. We solved the murder in about 7 hours: non-stop! With the past year putting a crimp on normal date nights, we gladly welcomed a change of pace and the chance to use our brains to work together. So if you're Netflixed out, a fan of true crime or mystery, this box set is a blast. I think that these mystery games are best for small groups of no more than 3 people. This would also make a great gift. Definitely not for young kids as there is some sensitive content. Overall, we'd give Moon Summit a 10/10 and are definitely going to order another box for a special occasion! ... show more

  • Easy
Great idea of a game. Pretty weak deployment. I wish it was much harder to figure out. Every one has been extremely simple to figure out.

  • This is fun to do with a spouse or friends!
We love the Hunt A Killer products and Moon Summit does not disappoint. This is a great series to do with your spouse and/or friends, but your probably not going to solve a whole series in a night. We highly recommend doing one box at a time for the best experience and then add a new box each time you get together. From the unique clues that you can keep for memories or practical use, to the interactive online systems, it will keep you entertained for hours. Be sure to pay attention to every bit of information because the answers often are found in the details. Good luck and good hunting. ... show more

  • Had a great time!
This set includes all 6 episodes. They are meant to be played in order. Don't open them all at once and you will have a wonderful time. I'm not sure how people are saying they got through the entire thing in 2 hours. I have a feeling they didn't look at and read everything. Took 2 of us about 8 hours to play. Spread it over two days. Really enjoyable. The first night after playing we speculated on it for a long time. It is what you make of it guys. If you want to do this sort of thing, you will enjoy this. ... show more

  • Easy for puzzlers, not worth the cost
Two days ago I did an unsolved case file. my first solo detective foray took a couple hours. When I bought that one, it was like ~25. It was super fun and I immediately bought this, having heard about hunt a killer on podcasts and figuring that the price meant I'd get the advertised 10-15 hours. I literally got this less than 150 minutes ago and have solved the case. Took the same amount of time as something worth 1/6 the price. No hints. The good: great, multimodal quality. A lot of layering with the websites and such. I got a beanie out of this, so that's cool. If you did this with a group, you would probably have more conversation and such, passing around the docs, thereby taking more time. The bad: I mean, I was vaccinated today (420) and even though I'm tired and high, I Found the killer in under 2.5 hours. Solo. I thought I'd get at least a day's worth of entertainment, but I guess I just need to go do something with my life instead of solving puzzles and getting high. Maybe I'll become a detective. Obviously I'm better than Michelle gray. This is not worth the cost. Just get the cheaper ones. I wish I could get a partial refund or something. Smh ... show more
