But it’s obvious looking at the pieces that they wouldn’t work where the instructions said so I just flipped them. I think it was #2 & #5. Other than that it was pretty simple to put to together.     • Strong and Silent Bed Frame

We had a wooden bed frame with a large headboard and footboard and needed to downsize. This bed frame was the perfect solution for us. The frame was easy to assemble (I did it by myself), is super-strong, and is silent. I don't know if I just got lucky, because a few people said holes didn't line up during assembly. Not mine! Everything fit and went together smoothly. The directions were simple, the parts were easily identified, and it only took about 30 minutes to put it together, if that (I wasn't rushing through the job). With no box spring needed, the mattress just lays on the frame and doesn't make any noise. When I lay down to sleep or when I get up out of bed, there is not a sound. It is amazing. I have not heard any squeaking, creaking, or settling of the frame; it is strong and silent. My wife doesn't hear me when I get up in the middle of the night, which is really nice. Also, because it has a 16 inch clearance under the frame, there is a ton of storage room under the bed. Most boxes, plastic crates, and storage bags easily fit underneath. We have all kinds of storage room now, which is why we opted for a platform bed frame. I haven't stubbed my toe on the frame (yet), but the legs at the foot of the bed are rounded. They look nice and I don't think it would (will) hurt that bad if (when) I accidentally come in contact with one of them. I am really happy with this product. So, yeah, I recommend this bed frame. And no, I didn't get anything for writing this review. No one paid me anything (I don't have that kind of luck); I just wanted to put in my two cents about this great platform bed frame. ... show more

The frame feels very solid and has clear assembly instructions. I put the frame together by myself and liked that the parts were numbered for future reassembly. We had to move it to another room, and it took two people to move the frame. Caution should be noted when moving the frame on its side, as the slats can be jostled loose, and the frame does bend at the center point. Once placed correctly, the frame functions as advertised and feels very sturdy. I have not had any sounds or squeaks from using the frame in the past few weeks. ... show more

Really good deal, its cheap but seems be be of good quality, It was easy to assemble and is sturdy. One thing to mention is that the frame is slippery, the mattress slides on it way to easily. I had to put a grippy tape on the metal bars so that there would be friction to prevent the mattress from sliding on the frame. ... show more

Good instructions, all parts indicated by a sticker. fasteners packaged and numbered, tools included. This frame is very solid, I had it assembled in about twenty minutes, (cheated used a battery drill on number 4 torque setting) My bed frame has a raised wood rail, and headboard, I removed the old support system, and actually assembled this new frame inside inside that permitter (extra support). Job well done. Just a note, I set up the new mattress ( unrolled & let it expand) I noticed it would slide around very easily on the new base frame. Not a problem for me as I have the raised rail and footboard.....Enjoy ... show more

This was an easy set up and replaced an old box spring. I’ve slept much better as it gives great support and stability. I’ve been using it for about a week and my mattress has not slipped. I also love the amount of space it gives underneath for easy storage. The only issue I had was fear of stubbing my toes on the middle bar. The instructions were simple and the parts were packaged to match the instructions. The 18" frame is tall enough to store large bings and other items underneath while not feeling like the bed is too tall. I recently upgraded my mattress which meant upgrading my bed frame too. The price was right with this one so I decided to give it a shot. Assembly was a breeze and only took me about 20-30 minutes. It comes with an Allen wrench and a smaller flat wrench, but I opted for my ratcheting socket wrench which made the job much smoother. This thing is sturdy, solid, and doesn’t move or make any noise when I roll around in bed or while getting in and out. The slats provide the perfect support for my foam mattress, and I can’t remember the last time I slept in a bed so comfortable.
