I ordered this specifically for the tray because I wanted another table with storage for holiday gatherings... I did NOT receive one with a tray. I don't have time to replace it for what I wanted, so I'll make do with what I have. But if the tray version is like the one I got, it's very cute and would fit most decor really well. I HAVE SEVERAL OF THESE (DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS) AND THIS ONE IS SUPER STURDY. THIS ONE WILL BE HOME TO SHOES AND PURSES BUT ALSO SITS NICELY UNDER A WINDOW FOR THE DOG TO WATCH OUT. WILL PROBABLY BE BUYING 1 OR 2 MORE LATER ON.

This is a great bench. I am positive that it would hold a small/average sized person. I got it to put next to my bed to make it easier for my dog to get on/off the bed. He's about 15lb and it has held him no big deal! I did not expect it to have as much storage space as it does. Excellent buy for the price. Easy to assemble, room for multiple pillows, sheets,etc. I even sat comfortably on top!! Unfortunately I went to buy a 2nd one and the price had nearly doubled. Not sure why Amazon routinely does this. Bad business ethos.
