I recently purchased the equivalent for young children for one of my children and it was such a success I bought this product for me and for my 10 year old son. We've both really enjoyed and have benefited from using guided brushing - a feature of the app - to make sure that we are brushing correctly and with excellent coverage. I honestly believe that use of the HUM system has instilled positive brushing habits in my son who brushes without looking at the phone in the morning and attains 100% coverage. Personally I feel a difference to how I brush my upper and lower molars and feel that my brushing has also improved. Battery life seems questionable (I've been using the brush for a month or two now and am onto my second set of batteries) but otherwise this is a relatively inexpensive product (compared to higher end electric toothbrushes on the market) with no subscription fee and many benefits - it really feels like a positive investment in my and my son's dental hygiene. ... show more

We had just recently ventured into the market for modern electric toothbrushes. I found an inexpensive model that was adequate, but unfortunately was discontinued & therefore impossible to find replacement heads that fit. It also didn't seal properly between the toothbrush head & power unit. This was something I didn't even know was an issue until I went to change heads & found mold growing around the inside of the connection piece. That was extremely disheartening & unsanitary & not even an issue I was aware could happen. I guess it was a wake-up call into you get what you pay for. This unit is exactly the opposite! This toothbrush is exceptional from the packaging, including accessories & included batteries. There are different modes ranging from a higher pressure down to a light touch. The heads snap on firmly & leave no space for anything to grow. The heads are well made & the bristles feel good on the teeth & gums. The unit size is smaller & easier to maneuver. I got this for someone with developmental disabilities that struggled with brushing teeth independently. This brush has allowed them to gain independence and they get excited to show their progress every time on the app! Well worth it!
