My son researched which drawing tablet would be the best fit for what he wanted. He spent days going back and forth, comparing his options. He ultimately settled on this one. He wanted something that he could connect not just to his laptop but also to his phone. He was so excited to get this with his first paycheck! Except that he can't connect it to his phone without connecting it to his laptop first. The power cord they sent is a triple split cord. Seemed like such a good idea at the time. Plug it into the tablet and then -Use the usb connection to plug it into a power block and the wall. -Use the HDMI connection and plug it into the laptop. -Or use the graphics driver cord, which you also plug into the tablet and program the buttons. Except with this cord the tablet won't do a thing unless it's connected to the laptop, and that connection supercedes every other so it doesn't matter if he has his cell hooked up. So he poured through the literature that it came with and discovered he has to use a cable to connect the tablet directly to the phone, no triple cord. Okay cool, we've got a ton of cords that would work. Except they don't. Every. Single. Cord. Is too big. The spot to plug in the USB C cable is recessed, and narrower than every cable we own. The only cord that will fit is the triple cord it came with. So okay, we go to the store. Nothing there fits either. Now we have to order another cord from the manufacturer. Except it doesn't come singly, oh no. It's a bundle. Two cords for thirty bucks. And of course, the screen is super sensitive and the first time he tries to use it (connected to the laptop of course) it starts to leave a scratch. So I have to buy a screen protector too! I seriously do not appreciate having to spend an additional $50+ so that my son can properly use his drawing tablet. ... show more

functions great, never used a drawing tablet with display before. only annoyance is that out of the box, it only comes with a 3-in-1 cable that needs two usb A ports and hdmi on your computer to operate. It says it does allow for a usbc to usb but they only give you an usb A extension cable. Other usbc cables you might have at home most likely won't work with it because they made the port deeper than most can reach and specifically shaped to probably only fit they proprietary cables ... show more

I may be biased as I’ve never used a display tablet before, only pen tablets but so far I’m really enjoying this tablet. Fixing the shortcut keys to my clip studio paint keys was easy ( I’ve used Huion pen tablets a]before it’s the exact same process) the image quality on the screen is good, but not crystal clear as you can 100% the grainy rainbow looking bits that screens have but I think it’s the same quality you see on a computer if your looking close up to it. So far I’ve experienced no lagging other than out of the usual apps that always lag no matter what, you can hold the tablet like you would an iPad in your lap/ hands, and I would say the colors are about 90% accurate to other screens, depending on the screen (for example on my laptop the colors and contrast look wildly different but when I send my drawing to another screen like my iPad the contrast and colors are completely accurate.) All in All I give this a 5 star review because I am VERY happy with this tablet and it’s functionality and this would be great if you are a beginner to digital art or even just a beginner to a display tablet as it is very affordable compared to other tablets, is a good size, and has great function! ... show more

My daughter loves it for the most part. But I though I was getting a stand alone drawing tablet that did not need a computer to use.I searched all over and thought this was the one, but I was wrong . You need a computer to use this! Works decent otherwise
