I seriously don't know how I have done so many projects before having this laser level! Throw those levels out, complete game changer and simple simple simple to use right out of the box. I didn't realize the stuff I could do with this...already planning new projects just to use it lol With that said, I would have mixed feelings if I was using this everyday at a construction site. I could see it getting broken fairly quickly compared to more expensive brands just based on the feel of the build quality. Flip side, it's cheaper to go through 3 of these than 1 of the other brands so.... But if you're a DIY homeowner and take care of your tools, I don't see this ever having any issues. In my initial use, I have found this to be a pretty nice unit and it seems to do what it claims. I really like the 4 lasers which are all individually selectable. I have had one problem with it, namely the charger that came with it, which plugs into the wall and supplies 5 volts at 2 amps to charge the rechargeable battery that came with it. The charger gets too hot to touch and is clearly overloaded. I tried a larger charger, but apparently Huepar didn't correctly implement USB-C; the negotiation isn't there, so any responsible USB-C charger will sit there refusing to supply power until the device asks for it. That never happens. I'm looking around for an irresponsible charger that puts out 4 or 5 amps also skipping the negotiation. This is just real sloppy engineering by Huepar; it doesn't speak well of them. Otherwise, the unit seems good. I'm wondering though with this experience how long it will last. ... show more

I've been using the same Bosch laser for the past 10 years. I was always frustrated at how difficult it was to see the red line. I knew I wanted something better for my kitchen tiling project and picked up this laser during a prime day sale. It's fantastic!
