The media could not be loaded. I have had a Cricut machine for at least three years. I'm guilty of using it 1% of the time I've owned it! Eventually this year I chose to put my circuit machine to the test and started off with a larger heat press. But, I found that I could have downsized to a mini for the majority of items I worked on with exception of larger decals on clothing. So I chose to buy this mini machine as it is easy to bring anywhere with me. It fits in the palm of your hand and is easy to bring with you or even just store anywhere in your home. The footprint is minimal. I love that is compact and handy for items where a large iron/heat press won't do. For example, we were working on the sleeves of some sweatshirts. This mini press worked better bc it fit sideways on the sleeves vs the super large heat press. We also made personalized slippers for our guests and this was the perfect fit! This is super cute and sturdy. It heats up quickly and is easy to use. I can't vouch for the longevity of it but will update my review in several months. I have used this several times for iron on vinyl on small craft projects and it worked like a charm. And it costs less than the brand name versions! It has 3 heat settings to choose from and comes with a tray to set it down in between pressing as well as a little drawstring bag to store it.

We purchased this mini press for my daughter's girls scout patches. We needed something simple that could heat up quick and not require the overall use of an ironing board. This works plain and simple, although I feel it could be a little hotter. It heats up very quickly but requires more than the average pressure to get a patch warm enough to stick. We have also tried using it for slight wrinkles and other miscellaneous "ironing" duties. It works for this as well but again requires additional pressure. The base is a game changer as it gives a safe cool off period rather than letting a hot iron sit on the ground. This little thing is so powerful at its highest setting. It does take awhile to cool all the way down, which I expected. I’m really glad I chose this size over the Cricut. I realized it’s more practical for the projects I encounter. I used it on patches that required pressure, and I think I’d be more annoyed with a smaller iron. I had been thinking about buying a little heat presses back when I first bought my Circut joy and I just couldn't decide if I should buy a name brand one or one that wasn't. I had also talked myself out of a mini press because i had a big press, but than i decide it might be handy to have on anyway . Well after comparing this one with a Circut brand one and a few other brands , I decided to go with this one since it had really good reviews and it was slightly bigger than some of the other brands I found ... it also had features that I thought were better than the other ones I looked at. The temperature control and the fact that if it's not in use for awhile it will turn itself off for safety reasons.. but if you turn it back on to use it ,it heats back up pretty fast . After setting your temperature It will beep when it is ready to use ..which I love that it has that ! I found that this little press is so easy and convenient to use for small and medium sized projects and I don't have to bring my bigger press out. So far I haven't had any issues using this press and it did it's job perfectly. I recommend you following the instructions of this press and whatever brand of HTV you are using to get the results you are seeking. Overall I'm very pleased with this well made heat press and definitely recommend it to others that are looking for something of good quality! ... show more
