After spending the better part of 2 months, whenever able, on weighing out the pros, cons, features, set backs, common issues, etc. on every mini photo printer I could find to do so with, I finally pulled the trigger and got this for my wife as a surprise gift. She was hinting at the Ivy (pff) while having no clue ones like this existed. While priced higher, its 100% worth it. Make sure to crop and follow the instructions in the booklet - and you will have some shockingly good quality photos with very little effort. Amazing quality I personally think. The power this little gadget has surprised me indeed. One of the best purchases made out of all my years with Amazon. Paper and carts are a little on the pricey side but I am meaning it when I say it prints high quality photos so this truly seems fair to me. (So long as your shot is high quality when you took it.) A low resolution shot will still be a low resolution print. A high quality shot will come out a rather shocking high quality home printed photo. I bought the pack of 80 extra with the printer. She has 20 left I think. Its been a week? And not one came out disappointing, not a single paper jammed or failed to feed, and its steady begging for more. I recently picked up the HP Sprocket Studio Plus, and I’m genuinely impressed with it. This compact photo printer is designed to deliver high-quality prints right from your smartphone, and it definitely lives up to its promise. It is very easy to set up. When it works, it make descent pictures but does not get the exact coloring. Complaints: roller is temperamental. Ink cartridges gives you about 52 pictures. You are forced to buy more pictures when you need more cartridges. Your only option is to get a bundle and are forced to get the bigger bundle since they apparently are out of the more reasonable bundles. (THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE SINCE HOW IS THE BIGGER BUNDLE OF PAPER AND CARTRIDGES ARE IN STOCK...) Especially since it is the same items with smaller or bigger bundle except they want more money!) I used a brand new cartridge for one picture and on the second picture the cartridge broke. This has happened more than once. If you do not check the line up on the picture, then it will jam inside the machine and you will lose a cartridge. Not to mention how long it took to clear the jammed paper inside thr machine with tweezers. It takes forever to make 6 pictures and you are forced to stay on app till it completes. It has taken numerous of hours, while babying the process to get 100 pictures. I will be looking at a new way to print my pictures. Sprocket is an absolutely waste of money and time! Great concept but needs a better quality machine. I still have over 130 of unused pictures and already need more cartridges. By the time I am done buying the bundles, then I will have more wasted pictures and not enough cartridges to complete a vacation. ... show more
