I purchased the HP Elite X2 G4 three years ago and never had an issue with it. I absolutely loved it because of the laptop to tablet feature which is why I originally purchased it. The only reason I purchased this upgrade was because someone damaged my old one and it recently crashed. Repairing it would have costed the same as a new one therefore I opted to just get the upgrade since I found no faults in the old one and didn't want any other laptop. This laptop meets the description provided and exceeds all the expectations that I had based on using the old one. This product is one of a kind and is super convenient with its size being able to fit in a reasonably small backpack and small space, particularly with the detachable keyboard transforming it as tablet. HP Warranty on the product is already used up. This will apply to ALL customers who order this product here (I'm not the only one, read other reviews). I got about 2.5 months out of the full year I should get with HP. Also, despite listing description and photos, pen is not included. The pen is required to access several features of this product. Every person who buys from here will have the same problem, meaning they will be forced to buy it themselves (a $40+ item while they offer a $25 partial refund). Yeah, time to move on. ... show more

I got the laptop at $629, a great deal! Its fast and quiet. Only thing to note is that it has a 250 nits of brightness screen, so overall not very bright. But its ok for indoor use. I bought 2 laptops and one came with 0% power. The battery meter did not work until I charged the laptop to 100%. So Incase you face a similar issue just note that the laptop battery needs to be calibrated by charging to 100%. ... show more

Laptop is working okay. Battery life could be better. However, didn't receive the pen or the USB port. Have to return the laptop to receive a new laptop and hope that package have the pen and USB. Makes no sense. Amazon support claims no partial refunds and cannot ship the missing parts. So be aware of this. Reading the other comments, it's a toss up on if you get the add-ons. ... show more

    • Can't beat an HP!!!
This is such a sweet little travel buddy. Needed a little touch tablet with drawing pen (not a spongy smudge), plus keyboard, with a Windows OS for keeping my graphic/art stuff going when I'm away from home. Kept trying the Surface Pro, but those things glitch out quickly and are expensive to continuously repair. Do keep in mind these little power houses do tend to get warm (and whirr). Sometimes, you just have to turn it off and let it cool briefly, then back to work. Not a deal breaker at all. It's worth it!!! ... show more

The stylus that came with the PC does not charge. When I contacted support I finally was able to get them to understand that it was the pen and not me. They said they would send me another one but all I got was an email stating that the PC didn't come with a pen and closed my ticket. When I responded with the actual order showing clearly in the description and the picture that the order DID include a pen and that the order was with HP they reopened the case. That was a week ago.
