The laptop turns off out of nowhere even if the battery is charged it needs to be always connected. It's very bad that they don't check the product before sending it.

I am a teen that was looking for a cheap laptop to play Roblox on and watch my shows. It is a very old laptop I will say that but it still works fine for the price. I’ve seen some people in the reviews expect it to be perfect for but obviously it’s kinda cheap. Only complaint I have is sometimes the charger doesn’t work. WiFi works great on it, not super big which for me is perfect, lightweight. And I love how you can flip it to turn it to a tablet and considering this model is almost 10 years old I think it works great ... show more

Bought this laptop. It will not work unless plugged in. The screen freezes and a notification from HP pops up saying defective/ malfunctioning battery, and that it needs to be replaced immediately to avoid damage to the device. Amazon, who sells replacement batteries, won't replace the battery. Now I'm stuck waiting on whomever sold it to me, via Amazon, to decide how they want to handle this. Very disappointed with the product and Amazons handling of this situation. ... show more

I tried to cancel the account. They make you go to three different sites, and send you multiple codes. And when I entered the finally one, they said session expired. Now I have to call them AGAIN to keep them from robbing me. Horrible horrible dishonest business.

This laptop came to me with the plastic of the monitor popping out on the top left hand corner, and because of this lint fell in behind the plastic of the monitor, my first instinct was to pop it back into the frame. So when I turned it on, there was lint behind the plastic and it drives me nuts, I keep trying to wipe it off, so frustrating. Also the cursor pad in the front center of the laptop makes all these rickety noises when I run my finger across it and the top has a "skin" a sticker that was coming up on the front corners. But that said at least it works, I have paid more for a lot less! I guess it makes a good travel laptop, thank God I did not get rid of my 17" HP!!! ... show more

as a honda master tech i bought this laptop to use as a scan tool .but the battery does not hold a charge for long when plugged in charging states fully charged but when unplugged it goes right down to 50% and drop's fast the battery does not hold a charge, goes 100% but unplug it from the charger at never reads above 50% a ... show more

Given the reviews I have seen on this product from this vendor I made my decision to purchase with a degree of caution, ready to return it immediately. The unit I recieved was perfect. No scratches, no abrasions, very clean. After a couple of hours of charging it powered up immediately and booted into the Windows 10 set up. I purchased this unit to use in my radio shack. I will do no heavy computing on it. Much of the time it will be a glorified data terminal hooked up to my ham radios. For this purpose, despite its age and memory it should work perfectly. It would probably work just as well for light duty general computing needs such as email, word processing, light spread sheets, etc. I am quite satisfied with my purchase. ... show more
