I was looking for a powerful Laptop at a great price. While this one is the older 12th gen Core i7, its plenty fast and with 32G of Ram I'm never starved for Memory. The 1 TB NVMe SSD is fast as well. Best part, as far as I can tell the "refurbish" work consisted of repacking an unused return. The PC looked and smelled new. I purchased Amazon's 2 year warranty which is better than HP's original 1 year warranty. Finally, you can't beat the price, this PC cost $1700 new from Costco in 2022, I got it for $800. ... show more

The machine runs fine and is very usable (and it’s a great deal for the price), but it had a number of dents on the back and side that the product description did not make particularly clear were a possibility. Hence why I didn’t give it five stars. Laptop is (basically) brand new. I can’t find any physical issues and it runs like a dream. Specs are as described. Intel Iris Xe graphics are, truly, next level for a laptop this small. This is the lower performing version of the Iris Xe platform, but it is light years ahead of anything else (including AMD). Battery life is great.     • Came Defective and No Help

I got this laptop on sale as an early father's day gift. It arrived fairly quick. When my dad set it up and began using it, he noticed that the sound wasn't working. He tried troubleshooting it and discovered the speaker had a short and only worked if you hit a pressure point on the device. I finally got a chance to look at it for him and tried getting it replaced since the amazon app says I still had time. The amazon customer support even said all I have to do is ask the store for a replacement, yet the store has not been helpful. I told them how the speaker was defective when I opened it and they immediately tried blaming me for spilling water on it. I explained the situation again hoping to just send the laptop back for a functioning replacement and they took a week to respond just to say that they swear it was fine when they shipped it. I wasn't asking for much. Just a swap so I can give my dad a laptop with a functioning speaker. Everything else was fine. I just wanted one that can play sound normally. ... show more
