The laptop arrived looking great! When I started setting it up, I started having doubts right away when I had to call HP tech to help me load Microsoft. He also did the necessary numerous updates needed.Then, before loading any apps, browsers, or programs, I attempted to load Norton. I ended up having to call them to help me. I then proceeded to download Edge, Chrome, POGO, Facebook, and then, several hours later I successfully loaded Knights and Brides. And that was it. The next day the computer took forever to start, and wouldn't do much of anything. I think it's a crappy processor. I returned it, but they won't refund the entire amount. This isn't my fist new laptop. I'm confident I'm capable enough to set it up correctly. ... show more

I purchased this laptop for work purposes. I chose this one because of the large screen size, the touch screen, and the basic features that came along with it. PROS: The screen is huge without adding additional weight. The display is bright and clear making it easy on the eyes when working. I don't need the touch screen that often, but it is a great feature. The Bluetooth with my headphones is seamless and since I spend most of the day with them on, this is a huge plus. The setup was easy - plug and play. There is a fingerprint option to unlock which is a nice added feature if you are in a public place. The color of the laptop itself is an added bonus as it matches my office perfectly. CONS: This laptop did not come with a charger. Luckily, I was able to take it to Best Buy and find the correct one. It uses a charger that is not very common which could become a problem later if you need a replacement. The battery life is terrible. I knew this going into buying it. For me, it is not a huge deal since I primarily use my laptop at my desk with it plugged in. I wouldn't recommend this laptop for someone who is going to be away from an electrical outlet for a while. For example, it would not be feasible to use this laptop to work in a coffee shop as you would need to charge it within 45 minutes to an hour. I primarily use my laptop for web browsing, e-mail, and work-related tasks such as Microsoft Office so I can only speak to that. I am not sure how it would work for streaming or gaming. I would recommend it for someone in school or only using it for work purposes. ... show more

Very happy with this computer. My only minor complaint would be that the battery could last a little longer. Love the touch screen. The best feature for me is the backlit keyboard - just really like that. I type in the dark alot - and sometimes I just need to see a key - problem solved. Purchased Dec 18th and it began having issues February. The screen glitches, attempted to troubleshoot but still didn't resolve the issue. Only received 80% of what I paid because they only warranty for 30 days. Complete waste of money.
