  • Works perfectly
Capacity: 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD Style: Windows 11 Pro
I’ve had this laptop for a few months now. The battery life has been wonderful and was the biggest issue with others previously. Super easy set up and use. The screen quality is good and no freeze. For the money, I was not expecting this laptop to be so good. My husband is a program analyst and ended up buying one as well after using mine. The size is great for travel and it’s really the best value. ... show more

  • Great laptop
Capacity: 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD Style: Windows 11 Home
I bought this laptop because my old laptop is starting to"crap out" the only thing I don't like about this laptop that I thought I had included in my search was that it is not a touch screen but I can live with that otherwise it is a great laptop it has Windows 11 and products related and I could not be more pleased with my purchase. It is lightweight speedy and sturdy as well! It charged very fast and stayed charged for at least 10 hours so I could not be more pleased! As far as the amount of storage I did go smaller than I always have but I do have an external hard drive in the off chance that I decide to save anything which I typically don't intend to do other than a few pictures so I should be covered as far as storage goes! This laptop was the best value and had everything I wanted other than the touch screen you should purchase this laptop if you are in the market for something that is very reliable and sturdy and has a keypad for the numbers which was very important to me the keyboard is also backlit which is another important selling point to me this computer is so easy to use and easy to set up I'm glad I made this purchase it is hard to find a good laptop for under $600 and this most certainly is a good laptop! ... show more

  • Love my new laptop!
Capacity: 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD Style: Windows 11 Pro
Big enough to show that I am the boss and sleek enough to put a smile on my face. This laptop was for a good price and it was a worthy investment. I love the feel of the keyboard, and the speakers have pretty good sound too. I use it via my hotspot most of the time and it performs very well under these circumstances. I use it for browsing the web and for graphic designing. Battery life is its only negative; one and a half, to two hours tops, it seems. Three to four hours would be ideal. ... show more

  • Great machine, but . . .
Capacity: 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD Style: Windows 11 Home
Fast, with bright screen and comfortable keyboard. Very good connectivity, with a good array of ports. However, I can't give it 5 stars, since it comes with a super-annoying portfolio of intrusive Microsoft programs and tries repeatedly to force you to buy a Microsoft 365 subscription, inadequate storage solutions, et cetera. You can defeat this crap, but it takes real determination. ... show more

  • Do Not Buy - Perpetual BSOD
Capacity: 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD Style: Windows 11 Pro
I never leave reviews, especially poor reviews, but NEED to share our story in case it helps you avoid what we just experienced. DO NOT buy this laptop. The price is *amazing* for its specs, and it is indeed too good to be true. Do not repeat my mistake. It is true this laptop is on the cheaper side - that was half the draw. While $500 is not much in the grand scheme of computers, it is still a lot of money. And, for that amount, it is fair to expect the machine to work properly right out of the box. I purchased this laptop (new) as a gift for my partner, to replace their old ASUS >10 years old. It was not intended for any intensive purpose. Truly, an Internet machine. We just returned it. My partner is upset, my gift to them ruined. I am despondent. Today is Tuesday. The laptop first arrived last Monday, and I completed initial Windows setup so it would be ready to go upon presentation of the gift later in the week. No issues during Windows setup that I could discern, so I replaced the packaging and wrapped it up pretty. Yay! This is where the joy stops. Within 24 hours of my partner receiving and starting to use the laptop (Thursday), it began to blue screen. Over, and over, and over. Even if nothing was running on the laptop. Countless hours my partner spent between Friday and Monday trying to fix the issue. Interestingly, System File Checker found corruptions on this brand new machine. Odd. Anyway, factory resets and Windows 11 re-installs did not stop the BSOD's, which all but confirms a hardware problem. The dump files (countless .dmp files) suggest power/circuitry malfunction. We did everything we could to fix this problem, short of opening up the laptop itself. Additionally, when the laptop was not BSOD-ing into oblivion, it would freeze entirely. WHY? It is new. Perhaps the CPU (Intel) was faulty. I heard about problems with recent generations, so I went with this laptop that had an earlier (12th gen) CPU. Perhaps the 32GB RAM, which led me to buy this laptop, is cheaply made and caused the problem. Perhaps some other internal defect exists that we could not identify as we did not open up the machine. We'll never know why this was happening, unfortunately, because... The other half of this quandary is that HP restricts access to advanced BIOS settings so you cannot troubleshoot or fix issues. There is no way around it. Perhaps this is to keep an unsophisticated grandma from bricking her laptop. Perhaps this creates artificial necessity for HP's customer service, for which they charge more money. It is deplorable, regardless of the reason. Beyond the defective product, equally concerning is the return policy which states that a percentage (up to 50% of purchase price!) is withheld from the refund if seller and/or manufacturer decide the problem for which you returned the machine doesn't exist, and/or they dislike having to replace the original packaging. Insult to injury: if the laptop doesn't work, YOU MIGHT NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK after you return it. My purchase was fulfilled through PCOnline US. I reserve comments until I see whether they choose to wrongly deprive me of a full refund. Even so, the policy should be called out as arbitrary, inconspicuous, and unfair to the consumer. When you buy a good, you are entitled to perfect tender. When you do not receive what you paid for, you are entitled to a refund. IN SHORT: A new laptop with these specs should not run this poorly. Period. ... show more

  • Works really nice!
Capacity: 32GB RAM | 2TB SSD Style: Windows 11 Home
Works really nice and smooth. Good and clear speaker’s sound. It’s really fast uploading applications and is very lightweight if you have to move while working on it, for example from your desk to the sofa. Good quality for the price too. I like it very much .

  • Great deal for home use and more!
Capacity: 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD Style: Windows 11 Pro
It was time for a new computer as my old one would hardly boot up anymore. I didn't want to spend a lot as I only do online classes and surf the web. This computer fit the bill! It was easy to set up out of the box. BIG screen for these old eyes. A nice keyboard with number pad. It is a little heavy, so not sure if it is the best bet for a travel laptop. But I only plan to use it in my home. Graphics, speed and sound are great. A real good buy on a home computer. Oh I was able to open Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator all at the same time and move between them quickly. That is always a good test of a computers RAM! Highly recommend! ... show more
