It’s not noisy or squeaky. It look exactly like the picture. Height was lower than I anticipated but I still love my bed. Make sure you are ready to get into a project when you start this. My significant other and I often put things together and this took three hours. Also when I ordered this bed I was charged for two. Which Amazon promptly took care of. I love the look of this bed but it’s not of the highest quality of wood. I’d say 3 out 5 on quality. I’d buy one again. So pretty good value for the money. Oh and pet friendly. ... show more

I don’t even know where to begin. By the time I finished assembling this, I was so frustrated, I wanted to light it on fire and watch it burn. Literally everything that could have been wrong about this assembly was wrong. Like other reviewers, I found that the screw hole pattern for one piece of the shelving was backward so after spending way too much time triple checking that I wasn’t going crazy, I ended up having to drill new holes in order for the pieces to fit together correctly. The holes for the wooden peg pieces also were not drilled deep enough at the top of the headboard so (again after spending way too much time triple checking) I ended up pulling all the wood peg pieces out so that the top piece would fit flush. I also had too few screws of some sizes and way too many extra screws in other sizes. And, finally, most frustrating of all, the horizontal cross piece of the metal frame closest to the headboard was too short, which unfortunately was not noticeable until the very end of the assembly when adding the cross slats and attaching the frame to the headboard. I tried everything, (including disassembling and reassembling much of the frame and headboard) get this piece to fit, but it’s just too short and nothing I did would make it fit. Fortunately this piece doesn’t seem to hold the weight of the mattress and isn’t 100% structurally necessary (hopefully???) so I’m just planning to remove it entirely and hopefully the bed won’t collapse while we’re sleeping on it!! The bed looks nice, but the assembly was so awful that I wish I had never purchased this and would never recommend this to anyone. ... show more

As soon as I saw this on Amazon, I fell in love with it. Now that we have it and it's all built looking as lovely as it does in the photos, let me tell you that it a monster to put together. It came in 2 separate boxes and a day apart which was no problem. There are a TON of parts and pieces and what you see in the video of how it goes together, isn't correct. The back panel that they show as all in one piece, isn't. It's 4 thin press boards that have to slide into their own slots and that didn't work the first time. We fought with that for a while. Also, we mixed up the 2 middle back panels which made lining up the plugs on top to not line up with the pre-cut hole in the back of one of the panels to allow the wires to pass through. We left it, ( more like "f" it, ) and drilled our own hole. When it came time to install the foot drawers, they are wire baskets and NOT wood like the video that shows pretty wood boxes. Overall, we love it, "I" LOVE it ( now that it's put together ) It's very eye-catching and the shelving with the sliding doors is just gorgeous. I would recommend it but be prepared to spend a good few hours assembling it. ... show more

I don't write a lot of reviews, but felt that this deserved one. First, the product arrived quickly. But it came in two boxes using two different carriers (weird but fine). I was pleasantly surprised that nothing was damaged during shipment or that there were no missing parts because I expected something to be wrong. I set aside a day to assemble the bed and I pretty much needed ALL of it. I'm experienced at putting furniture together, and this is just a time-consuming assembly. It's not hard. It just takes hours to get it right. It's noteworthy that the two drawers are a bit small. But we're putting this in our guest cottage, so we aren't really concerned about it. That said, it's a sturdy and great-looking bed that I'm really pleased with. I'd recommend it. ... show more

If we didn’t have it all out of the boxes, packaging and 98 % together we would be sending it back. When you do the put it together the pieces crack and separate. The bottom side pieces don’t line up with the whole and the boards bend. So they do not fit correctly at all. Overall the bed looks like cheap crap. That we are stuck with. Give it maybe a year if that before the whole thing falls apart. Very unhappy with this purchase. ... show more
