2nd week of use and it’s a fun ride. I use it as my transportation only to work where I can park it securely on site. Daily commute is 1.4 miles each way, so after 5 days I drained the battery down to 1 (has 4 levels) and noticed significant lack of power on an incline during the last trip. With 0 pedal assist and some coasting on the downhills, realistic expectations should leave you with around 15 miles per charge WITHOUT pedal assist. As far as comfort, the seat is stiff on bumps and I’m considering a replacement. Also the seat stem which can be raised or lowered is not secure enough to keep it in place, so I may have to insert a gap pipe in the frame to keep it from slipping down. The bell attached is useless and I have removed it The bike “folds up” but isn’t really practical except for long distance transport in a car or van because it’s a 65lb bike. That’s not something most people can carry yet alone lift for getting onto a bus or train. The headlight is effective yet you’ll need to adjust beam height which is simply done in a few seconds. Tail light is bright and flashes when using the brakes The ride is not too rough (aside from the seat I mentioned before) and shouldn’t be a deterrent I did add a rear bag for storage as it has framing space for one behind the seat. Overall it’s a 4 It’s my first e-bike and I’m VERY happy I didn’t invest any more than the $460 I paid. As an introduction to e-bikes I would recommend it. ... show more

I recently got the Hoverfly folding electric bike and it's been great. The 350W motor lets it go up to 15.5 MPH, and the battery lasts for about 15.5 miles on a full charge. In Pedal-Assist mode, it can go over 25 miles. The bike is comfortable with its adjustable seat and handlebar, and the brakes and shock absorbers work well on different roads. You can choose between three riding modes: Pure Electric, Pedal-Assist, and regular biking. The rear cargo rack is handy for carrying stuff. It folds up easily for storage in small spaces. I got this to take on our boat trips when we get to land to do grocery runs. It works great since it folds up and doesn't take up much space. It has plenty of speed and the battery lasts a long time. The rack on the back is great for carrying items. It is very sturdy.
