  • Most Enjoyable (First 2 Seasons)
I have now seen all 3 Seasons of Hotel Portofino. I really enjoyed Season 1 and by the end of Season 2 I was an emotional wreck and loved it. I would suggest only watching the first 2 Seasons. Season 3 just wandered for me and started going in circles. I made it through to the end but was not nearly as satisfied as the end of Season 3 as I was at the end of Season 2. I really don't think a Season 4 is necessary. ... show more

  • Interesting, love the scenery, Durrell's of Corfu is MUCH better!
This is ok, but the characters/ensemble don't mesh well. Watch The Durrell's of Corfu...British ex-pats to Greece, based on true story, and ever so much better!

  • Great glimpse into 1920s luxury on the Italian Riviera
If you love Italy and the Italian Riviera, the scenery and photography in this series is exceptional. The story centers around a strong ex-pat English woman who runs a small luxury hotel with its various occupants and proclivities. It takes place in Mussolini's time and therefore carries with it some drama. The cast of characters and plot lines are extremely engaging. I can’t wait for a new season! ... show more
