Kinda hard to build but pretty worth it in the end. The pantry doesn't stay closed if you have too much stuff packed in it but if it’s far enough from the edge it will be fine. We fit a ton of spices in the door and they hold well. and we also store stuff on top.

    • Sturdy, moderate assembly, holds a lot.
This is a sturdy cabinet, that holds a lot. It did take me all day to assemble - but I did stop in the middle and go to lunch. I mean, I had to, and that was not the plan, haha. Anyway, everything was labelled, all pieces were present. The instructions break down the steps - by which I mean, I also ordered a smaller, similar cabinet at the same time and I opted to put this one together first because according to review it just looked like it would be the better experience as far as quality of instructions/parts/and frustration. I made a good choice because I did learn some things from putting this together that I was able to apply to the other piece which did not have as good instructions or as good quality materials. When I was reading the reviews and comparing the pieces my reaction was disbelief that the disparity between two different "brands" of this boxed and assemble-it-yourself furniture would matter very much. I figured it had to do more with the reviewers, but I can tell, this cabinet is, in it's class - good quality, with good instructions, and fairly easy to assemble (even if it takes all day). Just for the record there are 45 screws holding in the backboard. This is good b/c it makes the piece more sturdy. But just for your information, it did take me approx 1 hour straight to screw them all in by hand. I'm a 39 year old woman with a job that requires a lot of sitting and typing. Sturdy, nice looking, decorative. Perfect choice for my needs.. Fairly easy directions, but not perfect. All screw holes lined up perfectly, so assembly was easy, however, there were a lot of screws. All the pieces were there. We aren’t rich so this didn’t break the bank. Would buy again. I gave it a 4, but would give it a 4.5 if I was able. It just took time to assemble, with lots of screws, but that helps the stability. Nice cupboard!! ... show more

Once fully pieced together its a very sturdy cabinet. All the pre drilled holes lined up nicely. Everything was well organized and the instructions were fairly easy to read. The quality of the panels are really nice, it is made from a type of mdf not your typical particle board that you tend to find with cheaper furniture. Theses are also painted as opposed to a laminate which I prefer. Overall for the price I would say this is a great value. The construction was a little time consuming but well worth it for the end product, especially if you are looking to save some money. ... show more

    • It has an awful smell but it is a nice pantry
My only complaint with this product is the chemical smell that is coming out of it. There was no smell coming from this product until it was completely assembled. I hope this stench will go away so that I can use it for what it was bought for! Everything was included in the box. The instructions are easy enough to follow. It took about 3 hours to put it together and everything went smoothly. Every piece was numbered and all the holes were in the correct spots. I like the design and the size of this pantry. If the smell ever goes away, it will work perfectly for food storage. ... show more

This was replacing a pretty crappy piece that I kept all my baking supplies in. This is stable, has lots of room, shelves on the doors, which is very handy, and looks nice.
