Our clock oil is now available in a squeezable bottle and comes with (1) 23 gauge Luer lock needles and a luer lock cap. This 23 gauge needle will allow the user to apply the perfect amount of oil where it is needed. Larger gauge needles (14-20 gauge) typically will deposit too much oil on the clocks movement, allowing for the oil to run down the side of the movement and drain out of the pivot. See the photo of the oil deposited on a backdrop. The smaller is from our 23 gauge needle and the larger drop is from a 20 gauge.

  • Great stuff.
Used it to lube an old pendulum clock. Works great. Excellent pin point applicator. Worth the high price.

  • Quality product
I used this oil to lubricate pivot points on several antique pendulum clocks. Works great and delivery was on time.

  • Makes it way easier to place lubrication in hard-to-reach places.
It seems like it is a good product but it will take a little while to find out if the lubrication lasts long enough. the oil needles supplied were a very big help. It is a tad expensive for the amount of oil you get. Maybe it's because of a certain politians hate for anything related to fossil fuel. (AW come on, have a sense of humor). ... show more

  • Keeps our clock rnning!
The oil and the applicators are worth it! keeps the clock running without losing time through friction. Pinpoint applicators make a difficult task a whole lot easier!

  • Oil Worked Great on My Gummed Up Grandfather Clock
Have a grandfather clock purchased new in Italy in 1982. It has a Hermle 451-053H movement. I bought a pen oiler with synthetic oil on here in 2015, used it at that time and several times since to rectify issues with timekeeping. Worked OK for that. Recently chiming became erratic, mostly striking on hour failing. Tried cleaning and re-oiling from side holes on the cabinet but still issues. Bought this kit and took off the hands and clock face to access the movement better. Discovered that a lot of lube points on the face were gummed up with green gunk which I cleaned with the sharp end of short bamboo skewers which had been dipped in aerokroil. Also used q-tips dipped in aerokroil (to point of dampness, not to point of aerokroil dripping out) to clean up the gunk. After thoroughly drying this up I carefully oiled all the lube points with this oil, put the weights and pendulum back on and started the clock up. The chimes started working perfectly again, 24 hours later. This particular movement is supposed to have 25-30 year life, but the now 42 year old movement is now working fine again, thanks to this oil. My impression is that the pen oiler with "synthetic oil" I bought back in 2015 could have contributed to the green gunk in my clock, this oil seems to be a lot better. I also like the bottle with the two nozzles better, as it is easier to hold while getting into tight spaces than the long pen oiler, and it is a lot easier to meter out a single drop from this bottle while you are lubing in tight spaces deep inside the clock movement. ... show more

  • Great lubricant for Grandfather clocks
Continued to use the original oil that came with the clock from the early eighties until the plastic container disintegrated from age. Did some research and it seems this stuff had excellent reviews from multiple sources, and synthetic oil seems to be better than traditional oils. Not at all disappointed. The clock immediately got quieter and sped up slightly, a sign things were running smoother internally. I like the multiple syringes that come with it, handy for big hands like mine in tight spaces and weird angles. ... show more
