Great batteries for bashing in my BL converted Revo 3.3. Easy enough to run a jumper and a second pack when I need a little more sauce. They give a solid 25-40 minutes of runtime depending on how I'm driving and don't even warm up, let alone get hot, through the entire run. I had some battery strap issues early on and tossed one pack twice at 35+ mph and it suffered no real damage so the hard case appears to be of good quality. I haven't had any charging or balancing issues to speak of, but one pack in the first set took a long time to balance during its initial charge. It has been just fine ever since. I'm oldschool and only charge them at 1C even though the manufacturer says 2C is safe. I've got a dual charger so one set of two will last for as long as it takes the other two to charge. I also run them in my otherwise totally stock brushed Slash and get 40+ minutes on a charge even when bashing hard. ... show more

Pretty new to the hobby, I was going to return these as like with most people who have because they are not compatible with the Traxxas charger until I was shown how to actually charge it on a Traxxas charger. You need to remove the little plastic cover on the left of the main charging point and connect your balance line there, then plug in the main battery line. Then you need to hold down the “charge rate select” button and the “start/stop button at the same time. What this does is allow you to select the type of battery (lipo/nimh) and the type of charge you want (fast, balance, store) and also the charge rate select (1A,2A,3A,4A) once you have selected those you hold the start button and you should be good to go.
