Solid build and design. Rechargeable via USB, this could improve so many battery-hungry toys that I've seen / dealt with over the years. Ingenious look and mobility, pretty good thinking went into this toy. I wish it had a way to lower volume or mute sound, as it can be bothersome and repetitive after a long time. I recently purchased the Crawling Crab Dog Toy with high hopes of providing my dogs with some interactive and entertaining playtime. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been less than satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. The primary issue lies in the noise level produced by this toy. The motorized crawling motion is accompanied by an excessively loud sound that seems to startle and frighten my dogs rather than engage them in play. Despite attempting to introduce the toy gradually and acclimate my pets to the noise, the result has been consistent anxiety and reluctance to interact with the Crawling Crab. The decibel level is significantly higher than anticipated, and the abrupt mechanical noises seem to trigger fear rather than curiosity in my dogs. As a pet owner, it's disheartening to witness their distress, and it raises concerns about the impact on their overall well-being. Its cute but the dogs knock it over in seconds so it doesn't really work like they show in the videos. The dogs are not aggressive they are not big dogs but just sniffing it knocks it over, so it isn't something they can play with or keep them occupied, you have to sit there and keep putting the thing back upright. ... show more

It keeps my kitten entertained. It works best if you don't have any rugs. Mine kept getting stuck on the edge of the rugs. Sometimes it can get itself unstuck. Also, it's a bit loud while it's on. But it does keep the pets entertained.

I purchased this product for my new puppy, who is full of energy and loses interest really quick. However, this product scared the crap out of her and for the rest of the night she would not come into the room where the product was. I had to put it on the table to get her in that room the next morning. So I would not purchase this for a puppy. But our three adult dogs love it. Because of the puppy we don’t use it and it sits on our table out of eye shot from the puppy. I’m trying to find a way to repurpose it and try to gift it to someone who has adult dogs only. Yeah.. my dog loved it but it’s definitely not a dog toy. It’s for toddlers, and it’s made out of brittle plastic. My dog bit into one of the claws and it cut the roof of his mouth. Not a safe dog toy but he does go crazy when he see it.
