This is actually a universal walking foot I don't think it's Brother brand. I ordered another one trying to get one to work with my machine, which is not a typical Singer. This is the first time I've ever used a walking foot. I absolutely love the ease of sewing with this foot. But I can definitely tell this foot won't last long. I sewed for about 2 hours, a small lap blanket, and when I was done the arm had been rubbing on something and there's metal dust every where. This made a huge difference by keeping my material feeding through, however, there were no directions telling how to put it on, and I had to Google it.

    • Broken after 5 months
I’ve used this walking foot off and on for 3.5 quilts since July when I’ve purchased it. It was easy to install and the guide is really helpful. It worked great in the beginning. But now after 5 months it’s broken. The feed dogs of the walking foot is not working so it can’t grip my 3 layers. It’s skipping stitches and jumping. And it’s also making weird clicking/clunking noises. Occasionally it will disconnect from the presser foot level, as in when I go to raise or lower it, it won’t work. So then I have to remove the entire thing and reset it. I’ve tried lower speeds with it, but the same thing happens. I’ve decided to go to a brother retailer for a genuine brother walking foot instead. ... show more
