I actually love this stuff!! I was super hesitant to try it because of some of the reviews, but I’m so glad I did. I feel like I’m not wearing mascara, but it makes my lashes look SO much better, which is what I wanted. Longer, darker, and slightly curled - just a subtle enhancement. I actually really like the long skinny brush, and I feel like it aids in making them long and feathery after brushing out the clumps (while still wet) I personally haven’t had any issues with smearing yet, so fingers crossed! I only do my top lashes most of the time, so maybe that is why. I do notice that if I layer it, then it does flake a bit, so I think you’re better off just doing a natural, one coat look with this one. I love how it’s actually good for my lashes, too! I have super sensitive eyes and skin, and so far no irritation. If you’re on the fence, I’d say TRY IT!! ... show more

The brush is small but manageable. This is the first time I’ve used this product. So far so good though. Feels moisturizing also. I like Honest products because they have a good rating for not using a lot of chemicals and harmful ingredients!

I recommend buying this product in clear and the color you would like. I only bought this product in brown and I regret that because if it rains, this product will run down your face. I think it looks good and it is a good alternative to drugstore mascara (I am allergic), but it does not hold up as well if you are in the heat and sweating or in the rain. ... show more

Had the clear Honesty lash serum and loved the way it made my lashes feel. Thought this would be a similar product, but with a tint (as implied in the name.) It’s a mascara, though, and not a durable one at all. I really wish a genuine conditioning tint existed.

I wanted a clean product to use. Wasn’t looking for thick mascara coverage. Just a little darker tint to my natural lash. No issues with it smearing as other reviews stated. Probably wouldn’t stay through crying, but it rained tonight and no problems walking in the rain.

I hate wasting things, but I am throwing this product in the trash. That’s how useless I find it. Now, to be fair: maybe the fact that it’s called “lash tint” instead of “mascara” should have clued me in that I wasn’t getting what I expected. Maybe. Upon opening the product, I immediately was skeptical about the brush—if you can even call it that. It doesn’t have bristles to speak of—it really looks like a screw. But, I thought: Maybe they’re on to something here! For me, the applicator just didn’t work. it left a LOT of product at the base of my lashes but didn’t pull it out to the ends. And the applicator did nothing to separate my lashes—they just clumped together. Perhaps because of that, I always had a slightly smeary cast to my vision immediately after applying this product. It didn’t feel good. That did lessen fairly quickly so I thought that maybe all I needed was a standard mascara brush to make this product work for me. Nope. Using a “normal” applicator did help the product go on better (though I still had the initial smeary vision), but that just revealed another problem: Not only did the lash tint seem to disappear, it took all the rest of my eye makeup with it! I tried using more primer but that did not help. I finally caved and bought a different “naturals-inspired” mascara (Pacifica Stellar Gaze) and I can tell in the first 5 minutes it’s everything this product isn’t. My recommendation? I made a mess with this. I thought I could use it like mascara and it would dye my lashes. It never dried and gave me dark circles underneath my eyes as it smeared.
