I WAS GETTING READY TO GO TO THE STORE AND PICKUP A FEW THINGS. I APPLIED THE MASCARA, PUT MY HAIR UP, AND AWAY WE WENT!! I was looking for a new mascara and saw this positively recommended/reviewed on multiple TikToks. This is my honest review of the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara, from someone who has tried it all. The price is VERY good compared to others on the market. The applicator brush is pretty simple, straight (no curves), with brush bristles. The bristles really grab onto a lot of the product so you just have to be careful that you aren't applying too much and that there isn't product on it that has already dried/clumped and is stuck in the bristles. I recommend cleaning the applicator every couple days to avoid clumpy lashes. The mascara itself is a dark strong pigment and is a thicker gel like consistency. Application is easy but as I stated, this can make your lashes clumpy if you're not careful about cleaning the applicator between used. I find that it looks better with one application, and if you do multiple applications the lashes clump and the product looks too thick. It stays on well throughout the day, but I do occasionally see flakes of mascara under my eyes by the end of the day. My lashes look darker, longer, and thicker... but maybe a bit TOO thick when it clumps. Overall, I'm not in love with this mascara, but I don't totally hate it either. If you are looking for a super inexpensive mascara and are very careful about application, this isn't a bad purchase. But I likely won't be repurchasing it. Hope this helps! ... show more

I love this mascara! It makes my lashes look thicker and adds some length. The price can't be beat. I have been buying this mascara and a few others of the same brand for years now. So glad I discovered them! I don't have any problems with smudging or running down my face if it gets wet. I prefer the regular over the waterproof because we all know it's sometimes a pain to wash off mascara. I typically use their primer prior to applying too. Highly recommend! ... show more

I really like this mascara. I have long, soft lashes and this does a good job of keeping them separated and it deposit the right amount of product. I like the big brush and the shape and raised pattern on the packaging make is easy to hold ('m looking at you, Cover Girl Lash Blast...slipperly little sucker!). i have never used false lashes nor will i ever. what a fake and ridiculous notion. BUT. this product absolutely does what it says!!!! gives the appearance of massive thick dark beautiful (not fake looking) lashes. sorta lengthening, definitely thickening. i started out by using it alone. then one day i added a layer of my l’oréal telescopic mascara and i swear to god my lashes were shockingly thick and long and just 100% impressive. the only con i would say is at some point, it does start to “shed” or “flake” off. not a lot but it’s noticeable under the eye or on the cheekbones. despite it not being waterproof, it’s a little stubborn to remove. def need makeup remover. small cons compared to the phenomenal results. sometimes i even sleep in it and ill wake up with it looking 90% fine, like i just applied it. and its not on my pillowcase ? incredible. ... show more

I love this mascara sooo much, my only problem with it is by the end of the day it has smudged off super bad, worse than almost every other mascara I’ve worn, but I also rub my eyes constantly so this could be a personal problem🤷♀️ I love the volume and the length it gives me, along with the fact that it holds a curl very good, unlike most other mascaras, I’m excited to try the waterproof one once this runs out. Can I just say WOWWWWZA. This stuff is amazing. I decided to write this post because I'm a lady that has very short eyelashes and I don't concentrate on them so much. I basically always just leave them playing so I pop my eyeshadow and my eyeliner more. But decided to give it a try.
