    • More than a basic welder
I have been welding over 20 years. I do not consider myself professional but I am a dam good welder. My preference in equipment is miller. I got this because I’m going from place to place and job to job and I didn’t want to lug around 200+lb in big equipment for small odd welding jobs. Well let me tell you I was blown away at how consistent the arc is on this machine. This thing has amazing power and penetration ability. I did change out the cheap ground clamp for a 300 amp rated brass spring clamp. It made the welds even more consistent and ran a bead consistent with expensive well known brands. I ran some 1/4 Steel just to see if it would lay a good bead down and penetrate and it did that with ease I could have probably gone just a bit up in size in material but I didn’t want to push it. All in all this thing seems very well built and it appears the quality control on these things is top notch. I’d recommend this all day for a reliable and powerful all in one welder for at home or light professional use. I am blown away at how great of a deal this is. ... show more

Smooth little welder, portable, good looking, but it will pop the breaker if you try to weld at too high amps. Welds 7018 very nice also 6013 was very good. Just remember its a small welder, its no speed demon. Great for small repairs any place you have juice.

Ni se le acerca a una soldadora a gas o 240v en lo que concierne soldador con stick ARC pero en la cuestión de soldar con mig está muy bien esto suelda muy bien y estoy contento con esto ahora bien te aconsejo que mejor pidas la de voltaje 220v/110v

    • Nice for small jobs
This is a good welder to have to travel with when you only have access to 120v. I did have a problem with setting up the wire for the tig. It kept getting stuck when trying to feed it through the hose and broke one time also. For the 3rd attempt I could feel it stop at the end and removed the cap and was able to get it to then feed through and put the cap over the wire. After that it seemed to work well as long as your prep your metal good first as it need nice clean metal to work properly. For the price and versatility, I think it's a good buy. ... show more
