So this item was in the top three of a YouTube channel that did a comparison of about six or eight of these charging units. This item was just a little over $100 and had about two other competitors in that same price range. As far as that review went they liked it and it was rated highest of the three for around $100. So I bought it off of that review. I did have a vehicle with a completely dead battery no dome light no headlights I use this item and it worked flawless. Hooked everything up hooked it up to the battery the item gave me the green light and when I crank the car over it started. So I am pleased. I did email the company because the flashlight did not work. But as it was it was a little bit of operator error. The manual says to hold the flashlight button for 2 seconds it does take a bit longer. So just push down on the flashlight button and hold until the light comes on and I did that and it worked so I did not have to go any further with their customer service. They did respond in a very Timely fashion. Their emails claim that they were going to fix problems if there was one. So I did not actually need customer service but at least their replies were prompt and willing to get to the bottom of the problem if I had had one. Other than that I have not used this item much. The only thing I did different is I painted the box that the item comes in bright yellow. I felt that the black was the wrong color to have something like this that you want to know where it is and needed in an emergency situation. So I just spray painted the carrying case bright yellow with a Rust-Oleum or Krylon paint. So far seems to be working well and at least it's something that will not be left out in the dark or forgotten now. I did actually in an email tell the company I think they should make the box that it comes in yellow and their logo black and I think more people would appreciate this because this is an item when you need it you want to see it and know where it is. I'm very impressed with this jump box. I selected it based on the positive review it received on Project Farm, and it has more than lived up to my expectations. It's easy to use (virtually foolproof). I used it to start a 4 cylinder gas engine (Subaru) that had a battery too weak to do anything other than click a bit when I tried to start the car. Before using it the display on the jump box read 100%. After starting the car, it read 98%. Impressive! It comes with a good quality storage case that has room for the cables, plus has padding to keep the jump box secure. The overall build quality seems to be very good -- the box has a nice solid heft to it, and the cables/clamps are of good quality. Great performance and a solid value for the price. Five stars.

This is a great little unit to get your car jumped. The only issue I have with it as a car dealer, it that it needs to sense some voltage from the battery to be able to jump. If you try to jump a car with a totally dead battery or no battery at all, it will not work. And it only has a 20 second window to jump. If you miss the window, you need to disconnect and then reconnect it for another 20 second window. Despite my gripes, i would still give it 5 stars and recommend it.

Pleased with the Hompow's power output. Mine stopped taking a charge after using it for over a year and a half. The seller stood behind their two year warranty and replaced it including shipping.

1/2 priced junk. I sent back the first one and I'm trying to figure out how to send the replacement back. First one says it's been charged to 100% only to unplug it from the charger to say 0%. The replacement took a charge (says 100%) and when I went to use it for the first time the readout says 77%. Lithium batteries aren't supposed to lose charge. Even after long periods of sitting. I am not impressed. This listing said it was 1/2 off, I didn't get any bargain. Say no to Humpow.

Has consistently preformed when needed. Will jump 6.7 diesel on F350 from completely dead battery time after time. Also holds charge very well, and even after several uses still has plenty of power.

it starts my 3.5L V6 with ease. and only goes down 3 to 5 % charge each use. Hold above 95% charges for a few months without recharge. has save us a few times already paid for itself. love that it comes in a case, and its easy to use.
