The size is exactly what I'm looking for, but the nuts inside the wood shelves that the screws go into easily come out as you tighten the to the shelf. The whole thing is wobbly. Good thing I'm inly using it for a squishmallow collection. Would not trust to hold books and nick nacks. Probably worth about half the price I paid. Should have gone with all wood. ... show more

    • Quick. Easy. Perfect!
I purchased this 4-tier bookshelf to help organize my office space and get my books off the floor. The pieces were all protected with plastic bags, including the shelves, and the box was securely packed to prevent shifting during shipping. While the instructions suggested a two-person assembly team, I was able to easily assemble the unit by myself. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow, and all the parts needed were included in the package (they even provided a couple of extras). The most difficult part of the process was making sure I didn't strip the bolts since the instructions call for tightening the bolts loosely until all the bolts had been properly seated, which meant there was a little bit of shifting to be done to make sure everything was aligned. I was extremely pleased that all the holes lined up perfectly - yes, perfectly! - and that once all the bolts were tightened, the unit was stable. I did not use the wall-securing strap since the bookshelf may yet be moved to a different location, but it is definitely something that should be considered because the feet of the bookshelf are not very large. How much you put onto the shelves, and how you distribute the weight of those items (definitely put heavier items near the bottom), will be a factor its overall stability. I would certainly recommend this bookshelf to anyone looking for a nice, simple piece for any room of the house. ... show more

I put it together pretty quickly. I dropped part on my big toe (DOH) but survived to finish it up. You will need your own wrench or doodad to tighten the bolts - what they have you won’t cut it at all. I used a size 10 on the bolt. Mine came with rust or rust colored “stuff” on the bottom of my side frame pieces. I couldn’t get it all off and If my husband saw it - we would have returned it. I wiped off what I could and it hope it’s not obvious to others. I think it was a little overpriced personally - but it’s what I needed for my space and I bought it specifically due to the ease of assembly (based on reviews). ... show more

Easy to assemble, has leveling adjustment at the bottom and feels sturdy. 4 stars because of two things 1). The 5 screws that are used to secure the X bars in the back should be shorter, they dig into the wall, they look uglier is you mount them the other way around to avoid that problem. 2). I bought two to mount side by side but each one has a different shade of tint on the shelves, not immediately noticed but they dont exactly match. ... show more

I love this bookshelf! It's super cute and goes well with my decor. Super easy to put together by yourself. Took about 30 minutes to assemble. Love this shelf! It was perfect for the price and size. Everything came in tact and had no issues. I found it difficult to assemble and the tools used to put it together that were provided seemed of cheap quality. If you have tools this would be easy to assemble. It took me about an hour to do.
