I have 2 small dogs, 8 and 10 lbs, 1 that has terrible separation anxiety. I ordered this crate to be able to have them next to each other but separated to avoid any issues with the anxious one getting on the calm one's nerves. First problem was I realized I ordered the triple set of crates instead of just one. Not sure how I did that but between all the research and seeing all the same pictures on the site I was a little confused. I messaged the company about it through the Amazon App and got an immediate reply confirming I did order 3 crates. I explained what I wanted and they offered to submit a recall for the other 2 crates and deduct that cost from my refund or deliver the crates and I send them back and pay for the shipping. Well I researched both options and again messaged the seller and got another fast reply about how much it would cost to issue the recall - it was WAY cheaper than I could have gotten trying to ship them back myself, not to mention the hassle of 2 large heavy boxes. I was afraid I would get the wrong one delivered, but they got it right and the one I wanted was delivered without issue. The crate arrived in excellent shape although one bar in the front was bent - a little disappointing but not terrible. It took 2 of us about 20 - 30 minutes to put together - The directions could definitely use some improvement - they are not that easy to understand - you can figure it out, but it just takes a bit longer since the instructions are very minimal. I've had my dogs in the crate during the day for several days now. The anxious one, who has chewed the bars off of 3 previous crates and was able to get another crate's door latch open, has been safely contained! The ONLY problem is that he figured out how to slide the middle divider out. I messaged the company and again got an instant reply - they do not have a way to secure the divider but suggested I try zip ties which I will although the dogs seem to be fine together - I just slide the divider in when they eat for now. My only other challenge is how to be able to get this over to my pet sitters house when I'm out of town - not being collapsible does give it the added strength I need so I guess I will get pretty good at taking it apart, at least some of the way and putting it back together. Several features that are particularly helpful: The bowl stands - you can easily take them out, change the location, etc. the feeding door is also handy without leaving any holes or anything for the dog to chew on or try to weaken / use to try and get out. Overall very happy with the product and super happy with the customer service. The slide out tray beneath the metal cage bottom - makes cleaning up after the dog way easier. Keeps the living area of the crate cleaner and more sanitary. The carabiner clips that are included for the door latches - a very helpful detail that I think many companies would decide to do without. I really like the divider, one of the reasons I chose this crate, but do wish there was some way to secure it in an official way / using the same hardware that you put the rest of the crate together with. All around good value for the money and the customer service exceeded my expectations. ... show more

    • Ideal for Toy Breeds and Breeders !

Professional looking, quality built, easy to assemble and clean. If you are a toy breed, breeder BUY the cage ! I tried other brands but none were made the same quality, or thought to function, as Homey Pet is. I bought the 21" inside height one, which has loads of head room. I would NOT want to go any taller ! Ability to Stack is fantastic as can also use the top one, as a Whelping cage when you remove the center divider.. No bending over to access pups, or to clean, and loads of room. Double doors to access inside cage, is fantastic AND the top opens up ! I love the wire bottom, as I cover half with bedding so if they have an accident they are still dry. Side and bottom wire is close enough so toy breeds can walk easily on. I see the newer model, comes with plastic flooring with smaller holes/spaces. WITH divider in place, I have 2 areas for kids to sleep in. I use pee pads on the tray that I change and clean tray with lysol wipe. SO EASY. The wire bottom, is also separate into 2 peices and easy to remove, to give a better clean to when needed. I already had one of these cages that is 2 years old and NO RUST. I didn't think I would use the dishes BUT I DO and I put them in the dishwasher. I ordered more dishes. I see they now switched dishes to a more shallow style that flips out easily (not as good) but can still purchase the quality deeper ones on amazon or PetEdge. Cage bars are also perfect to attach lixit bottles to. MY advise is if you see these cages available do not wait, "GRAB IT" as they sell out fast. Just ideal for my fur kids to sleep safely in and to eat in, so I know everyone is getting all their meal as well. AND it looks clean and Professional and wheels makes it easy to clean around or move to different room. SOME people are turned off by the wire grid flooring ... but just cover it with bedding :) AND the grid flooring is close enough for toy breeds to walk on safely. AND now with the newer plastic flooring, people should be happy. ... show more

Purchased 2 of these and have them divided, so there’s 4 kennels available for my pups. I love that they were relatively easy to put together and seem very strong. My dogs are not big. They’re puppies right now and will max at about 10 lbs each so they will be small. That’s why i chose this particular version of the kennels. There were some bent bars but no matter, I was able to fix that with a set of pliers. I do not regret getting these, I do regret not getting them sooner. Would have saved me a lot of money and a portion of my sanity. I like that the puppies are off the ground most of all and that I can easily move the crates to clean or rearrange. All in all it was a solid purchase and I totally recommend!! ... show more
