These work really well. I can't say how they would release without spraying because I haven't been that brave yet. The only reason I gave them 4 stars versus 5 is that they are smaller than I would have liked. I have larger ones - which are actually too big. These work fine, just take a little more time. My dog doesn't care what size they are though - just likes the treats I make. I've made an oats, peanut butter, and banana treat and oats, peanut butter and pumpkin. Both release easy. ... show more

Yes, they are what people called "flimsy", but I am using them to make homemade dog treats. I put the molds on my baking sheet and fill and the molds this way. They are super easy to use and super easy to clean. Great product for the price.
