I saw this resistance training kit and ordered it for my son. He's been through a lot these last few years... seriously shattered ankle, death of his father, a move from the west coast to the east coast, and buying a new house. With all of this stress, he has put his health and fitness on the back burner and recently mentioned that he'd like to try to get back in shape - so I thought that he'd like to give this kit a try. I have used resistance training in physical therapy when I had my knee replaced about a decade ago, so I'm a tad familiar. When I opened this kit I was impressed with the quality of the equipment. Everything feels heavy duty and quite capable of handling one's body weight during the routines. Also included are directions for how to set up the equipment plus a card with simple illustrations of the different routines you can do and which part of the body they affect. The card is printed in small type that's difficult to read but you can also just look at the illustrations to know what to do. A mesh bag to carry everything is a convenient and thoughtful addition. All in all I feel confident that this equipment is safe and will prove to be helpful to my son if he is dedicated to making it work for himself. ... show more
