Assembly was a lot of steps. But instructions were well written. It’s not the most sturdiest but for the price it is exactly what I expected. It is nice and would buy again. One set of the doors is off by a little bit, the holes are predrilled, but it is not a deal breaker.

    • Feels a bit cheap but overall happy with it
When putting this together we found one of the boards broken which left an incomplete build sitting in the living room for a couple weeks. However, customer service was quick to respond and sent new part out. Once received, we were able to complete the build and found that the overall fell of the unit was a little cheap in build. All of the pre-attached side boards required brad nails to help secure them as the original glue didn't hold the way it should have. Also one of the doors pre-drilled holes for the hinges is off which makes one of the doors a little higher than the other. Although it feels a little cheap compared to what we paid for it, it does feel sturdy and has plenty of workable space. We are using it as a board/card game storage unit and it fit all over our games with ease. Minor defects and the somewhat cheap quality leaves room for some improvement but overall, it is holding well, looks nice and is doing what we needed it to. We recommend this purchase. ... show more

This was reasonably easy to put together. It looks great and is true to size. It's a bit heavy so make sure you've got at least two people when putting it together. The shelves are nice and sturdy and the drawer is great. The only complaint I have is the instructions were not very wordy so some steps were hard to follow. Perhaps giving more written explanations with the steps would help. ... show more

Easy to assemble. I am a 28 yr old female and put this together completely by myself in about 2-3 hours with a couple mental breaks. It comes in two boxes total. The first two I received came with several broken and damaged parts. The return window had closed. I kept this boxed up waiting to move to my new place, HOWEVER, I contacted the company and they were SO nice and SO helpful. They were absolutely amazing I couldn't believe it. They sent me both boxes again but with a different carrier service because they wanted to make it right. The next shipment came safe and sound. All parts were in good condition. There was one part that was missing a set of holes, but I drilled them myself in about five minutes and it came out just fine. I will shop with this company again because them helping was so admirable, when really they did not have to help at all because the windows had closed. This item is the worst I had purchased from Amazon. When I called their customer service they said they don’t have any replacement pieces and that I needed to contact Amazon directly. Amazon did not do much to help as I am stuck with this horrible junk that will need to be replace in the near future. This item is over priced and the quality is horrible, not worth the money. It is a very nice looking piece but overall the quality is junk. If you read reviews, I suggest to purchase something else from another vendor because if you receive broken pieces they won’t do anything to help you on replacing them. It was a beautiful cabinet, not too difficult to put together, held a lot, big drawer, overall I LOVED the cabinet until it came time to move. The very first time we tried to move out, it completely fell apart and the whole bottom of the cabinet fell apart and shattered you couldn’t fix it!! Such a waste of money!
