I've mostly used plastic for food storage in the past. Saw this set and ordered it. It came yesterday, and so far I've been nothing but impressed. Glass is a much better choice than plastic. It's non-porous and won't stain. Stands up to the microwave better. The plastic lids are sturdy and high quality and seal easily and tightly. With the clamps on all four sides, there's no danger of lids popping off. I would have made a way of "burping" the container, and I'd probably take the lids off when microwaving, but otherwise a great product and a great value! ... show more

These are a bit smaller than I thought they would be, but you can pack a lot in them. They also stack and store much easier and save a lot more space. They have been great to go from the fridge to the microwave to the dishwasher. I love them and have had no problem with them and they have replaced my plastic Tupperware! They have remained durable (and for me that is really saying something, durability is very important to me!) They don't spill easily. They are easy to clean and care for.
