๐Ÿš€ Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The reviewed recliner stands out for its easy assembly, comfort, and value for money catering to users across different body sizes, though with a note of caution for taller or larger individuals. It's praised for its quick setup, needing only a few minutes and sometimes a second pair of hands. The available range of colors matches the expectations set by online images, and while it's noted to be not as plush as more expensive models, its adequate padding and reclining feature make it a good buy for most.

Pros

  • ๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ Easy to assemble, often taking just a few minutes
  • ๐Ÿ‘ Comfortable seating, suitable for reading and relaxing
  • ๐ŸŽจ True to advertisement in both color and style
  • ๐Ÿก Perfect for small spaces without overwhelming the room
  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ Good value for the price

Cons

  • โ— Less padding than more expensive or larger recliners
  • ๐Ÿ“ May not fit very tall or large individuals comfortably
  • ๐Ÿ’บ Some found the recliner too hard or small

Should I Buy It?

If you're in need of a budget-friendly, comfortable recliner that fits well in smaller spaces, this could be a great option. However, if you're taller or prefer a more spacious and plush sitting experience, you might want to consider other alternatives.

  • Nice chair!
Color: Black Material Type: Leather
Nice, simple chair. Super easy to put together! Great price! On the smaller side for a recliner, so if you want big and cozy, this isn't it...but otherwise it's quite comfy and great for smaller spaces!

  • Comfort at a Great Value
Color: Black Material Type: Leather
This recliner is very comfortable to "sit" in, (not reclined), for long periods of time, however not so comfortable for me when in the semi reclined position for reading or watching TV, for long periods of time, due to the heels of my feet hanging over the leg rest when the recliner is in the semi reclined position. My height is 5'6". When the recliner is in the fully reclined position my heel placement on the leg rest is perfect but this position isn't practical for reading or TV watching. With that said I still give this recliner 5 Stars due to its Look, Feel, comfortable seat cushion, and Price. ... show more

  • So comfortable and perfect for our camper!
Color: Black Material Type: Leather
I bought two to replace the ugly, uncomfortable couch in our camper and I was a bit skeptical about how my 6ft husband would like them, but they are sooo comfortable that he doesnโ€™t mind that his feet hang over a bit! They fit perfectly in our little space and we love the comfort. Easy to put together and so far seems pretty sturdy. Iโ€™m very happy with these, especially for the price! ... show more

  • Great buy
Color: Grey Material Type: Leather
This chair is amazing for the price. Itโ€™s thick leather and firm which I really like. Itโ€™s super comfortable and compact. If you are a larger person check the chairs width. Itโ€™s sturdy and the color is true. You have to push back to have the legs come up and have to adjust a bit to keep it there but overall I love it and would buy it again. ... show more

  • Comfortable, perfect size, fits in small spaces
Color: Black Material Type: Leather
This little chair is awesome. I am 5'2 and 255 ish lbs and I ordered this for the time being until I can buy a better recliner. Its in my bedroom. Before I was sitting in a cheap $30 zero gravity chair that was very uncomfortable for sitting as well as posture. I started looking at recliners months ago and was balking at paying 300 dollars plus for a nice recliner. I happened to stumble across this on Amazon, a chair for around 100 bucks with good reviews! I had to try it. I'm so glad I did. Its comfortable. I read on other reviews that chairs with a manual recline were difficult to shut and that is NOT the case with this chair. Its very easy to recline and sit up. Fits me perfectly esp with my height and the paper it came with says it has a weight capacity of 275 lbs. So my hope it is lasts a really long time. So far I give it 5 stars for its being affordable, compact, lightweight, seems to be of good quality and the shipping was faster than expected! UPDATE 3/3/2019 I went to sit in the chair tonight and the left side, the wood has split and the bolt came out. Now I can't recline the chair and my cat is not happy since she loves sitting with me while I am reclined watching YouTube. My Dad is going to attempt to fix it tomorrow if it can be salvaged. It ALMOST lasted one year. It's still a comfortable chair just at the moment it can't be reclined. 3/6/2019 I forgot to update this review. It wasn't possible to fix the chair and I had to throw it away. It was a bummer as I really liked it. I'm reducing it to 3 stars since I did get some good use out of it before it broke. ... show more

  • Would shop with this company again
Color: Black Material Type: Leather
I purchased the Homall recliner chair as a Christmas gift. When it came I was really impressed with how well it was packed - it arrived in excellent condition and had simple instructions. It was a very nice looking and sturdy chair. My only concern was it would be too small for my son who is 6 feet tall. When I contacted the company to say I may need to return it, someone replied to my every inquiry immediately and helped me set up the return. I decided to wait until Christmas to have him try it and unfortunately it was a bit small for him. Even he was disappointed it didn't work - it was a great chair for the price! I sent it back and received a full refund without any hassles. I would definitely shop with this company again! ... show more

  • Modified to be a great "wheeled computer seat"
Color: Black Material Type: Leather
UPDATE: Scratched below first approach - after only few days of usage. Reason?: two of female thread inserts came out and one corner of the wood frame was almost raveling. So I implemented this second approach : I mounted two 3" wide hardwood pieces (see the pic) under the seat with self-drilling wood-screws. These are quite dense door thresholds - bought from hardware store. I also replaced the wheels. So instead of previous single-stem wheels; these new ones mounts with 4 screws (avoiding the sway effect of single-axis stem). The whole idea is to distribute the body weight on to wood frame of the seat - utilizing largest possible area. So far so good. ------------------------------------------------------ After couple decades of using computer chairs; I'm done with them. The issue I (and you) have with all computer chairs is; you sit on single axis (shock absorber). Bottom mount of that shock absorber (to wheel-base) lasts forever; no problem. But top mount always breaks after a year or two (unless you are shelling $1200 on a HermanMiller chair). That's because of your body weight swaying left & right. Even the arm rests and/or body breaks if your chair has a plastic frame (as most of them do). Plus the long-term comfort is never comparable even to a basic recliner seat. For these reasons I searched alternatives. I found this basic recliner with good reviews. But I had to have wheels on it. I measured the diameter of screw-in feet. That screw stem has 8 millimeter diameter. Then I found and ordered set of 2" Screw M8 5/16 8 x 25mm Caster Chair Wheels (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PXMW9JC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). But you can't simply screw-in those caster wheels. Because this recliner has a tiny wood frame. Female thread is only small metal nut - merely embedded in to that wood frame. If you simply screw-in those wheels; your body weight will just rip that metal nut out of that wood-frame (i.e.; you'll destroy it). Because the original plastic fixed-foot has large diameter. As you screw-in that original feet; weight is distributed on to wood frame thru that wide plastic body. So I had to use few metal washers to simulate that (so the weight is applied on to wood-frame - not only to metal nut insert). You have to use at least one 2" diameter washer (2,5" is better, if you can find it). I added two more smaller washers because the wheel was not fully going in to the female thread. (the reason is; female thread is real 8 mm, but the caster wheels I ordered are actually 5/16"-18 coarse and they are NOT exact equivalent). With these 3 washers you see in the photo; I can tighten the wheel till it stops in the thread (again; because of size mismatch between 8mm female thread and 5/16" wheel stem). At the end; I have a very nice wheeled computer seat (versus a chair). Highest comfort. I can recline and (once seated) pull myself under the desk (thanks to wheels) effortlessly. You better have a height-adjustable desk though. Because finished height of that seat is lower than typical computer chair. If you have a fixed computer desk; chances are that you'll stay too low with this recliner under it. Coming back to quality of this recliner seat; it's only adequate, considering what you are paying for it. Padding sponge is merely there - frame is only wood (probably not very strong). So if you don't sway and throw your body weight around; it should last for some time. If you need better durability & comfort; you'll need to pay about five-fold. ... show more
