  • The new RV Rider carries 2 E-bikes (up to 80 lbs. each) on the back of an RV Motorhome, a 5th wheel or a flat towed vehicle.
  • Special features include extra heavy duty wheel holders for heavy load carrying capacity. Locking frame grabbers secure the bikes in place. The frame grabbers can attached to a bikes frame or seat tube with a diameter range of 1"- 2".
  • A locking cable and keyed alike hitch pin secure the bikes to rack and the rack to the vehicle. The bike rack folds up when not in use and can tilt down for rear cargo access when the bikes are not mounted (when used on an RV or motorhome).
  • A double walled receiver tube handles the extra weight of the electric bikes. An included hitch tightener reduces motion inside the hitch (receiver hitch must have a flange).

    • Works for our two Rad Rover 6 Plus ebikes
Wish it had a quick release for center bar to make it faster to load and unload bikes. If I am only loading one ebike by myself, I lower the center bar and load the bike on the external rack so that the front tires will be the one going over the folded bar once I get the bike on the first slots. That way I am not lifting the heavier rear part of the bike over the folded bar. This makes it easier to then move over the front tire to the back rack and then the rear of the bike over. If we are loading the bikes together we don’t lower the center rack and just raise the bike onto the back of the rack, front tire first and walk, (guide), it through to the other side when the other person is lifting the rear of the bike. That saves time. I was bummed to see it go on sale for $100 off a week after we purchased ours. It is solid construction and hopefully will last for a long time. We added some magnetic rear taillights to it which we can remove easily when lowering center bar. It is really tough to see rear lights with two Rad bikes loaded. ... show more

i like the rack. used it on the back of RV and went 3,000 miles without a problem it is made very well and locks to the rig as well as bike locking to the unit.

    • Sturdy rack
Like the sturdiness of this rack. We like to camp and needed a nice sturdy rack that is RV compatible. We have two 70lb bikes, finding a rack that will hold the load and is RV compatible is difficult. This one fit the bill. The only thing I don't care for is, when you let the rack up or down you have to unscrew things and disassemble a bit, but other than that I like the rack. Please know you must first make sure your RV bumper will also hold the load. Ours is reinforced and has added stabilizers to keep the bumper from possibly twisting, bought here on Amazon. ... show more

Purchased to take our ebikes camping with us and it works perfectly. On our G/D Reflection we have to turn the handlebar on the bike closest to the camper to prevent it from hitting the back wall when it bounces. Also by turning the handle bar the post clamp properly lines up with the bike.

It holds two electric folding E bikes on back of the fifth wheel trailer with no problems at all the only downside is the hitch is a little heavy but you gotta kinda expect that

I looked at so many carriers and even returned 2 of them, this one is a keeper! We use it for 2 ebikes with 4 inch fat tires, works great and no straps required because the locks are great! Use on our motor home with included hitch support bracket and it is hollywood rock solid.
