I bought this about a year ago and then stashed it away next to my vacuum cleaner knowing that I would probably use it one day. I've always been able to get the lint out of my filter, but I was getting tired of seeing a little bit of trailing lint down toward the bottom where I couldn't reach. I used to use chopsticks and covered the end of them with duct tape and that would get some of the lint out but it was a real pain in the butt. Anyway, I know this is kind of long, but I also think it's kind of funny and that I thought somebody could use a good laugh. I have a kitty at home who, if I don't put her dry food somewhere out of sight that I haven't put in the Tupperware yet for freshness, she will get into the bag and rip it open. I'm sure some of you have experienced similar situations yourselves with your pets. Anyway, happenstance would have it that I put her dry food bag in my dryer one day just to keep it out of sight. While my daughter was visiting one day she threw all the freshly cleaned clothes into the dryer and started it up without checking the dryer drum. You guessed it! After about 20 minutes we were hearing rattling around like pebbles or something and she went and opened the dryer. And oh my God, what a surprise we had awaiting! There was dry kitty food everywhere and thankfully it wasn't mushy or anything because the heat from the dryer must have unglued the glue on the cat's food bag and just opened the top. And holy cow, those bags are tough because it wasn't ripped anywhere! But then of course I had a horrible mess all over inside my dryer. And yes, it freaked me out. We shook the clothes out one by one and then I was left with the task of getting all the dry kitty food out of the dryer. I was able to salvage just about all of it with some of it of course catching in the dryer filter. I remembered having this vacuum cleaner filter for sucking out dryer lint and dug it out and oh my God! It worked like a charm and got every little bit out of there and I was able to vacuum out all the dustiness and everything from the kitty dry food. And then of course I went all over it again with a damp cloth and I even sprayed it with a little bit of air freshener. Thankfully, I didn't use fabric softener when I washed the clothes or when I dried them, or of course it would have ruined the kitty food. I think it's kind of a funny story and I'm so thankful that my dryer is fine and working great. Thanks for making a wonderful product and I'm so very thankful to have! ... show more

I needed to clean out an old combo washer dryer which collects lint in it's condensation chamber. It is long and oddly shaped, which makes a brush like this perfect. It can easily bend to reach the tight corners, with firm bristles to scrape out the sides. This thing looks like it quite durable and would last a long time. Yes, it bends to get in , yes it was nice to have a two pack, but..... I did not feel it worked well for my dryer. I was looking to pull out more lent, but it seemed to push it down and when I started dryer up, you could hear a lot go through the vent. I guess that good? I was a lot, I wanted to be able to pull it out. Was I doing it wrong?? There were no directions in my package. ... show more

I had a similar dryer vent cleaner before but it got misplaced in our move so reordered this product, which is like what I had before. It works great to go deep into the dryer vent to remove lint that you can't reach with just your hand. I highly recommend this to use for cleaning your dryer vent !!
