The reason for 5 stars is the included instructions and supplies. Every buy something you need to put together and 1 screw is missing (well maybe you lost it)? This item came with extra hardware that I didn't need but if I did, it saved me from running out and finding one. Also the template supplied for installation alignment was printed on card stock, not paper. It was VERY easy to position and install the shelf correctly with the included template. The media could not be loaded. Installation was the easiest with this unit. It came with a thick cardstock that had the holes lined up for where you needed to drill and add the screws. They lined up absolutely perfect the first time. Shelf is made of a high quality metal and even when the shelf if loaded with all my pots and pans it slides out perfect. No noises which is a plus. I do have more of these to install that I will be adding soon. side note: They are so easy to install that I did them myself and did not need to make my husband do them lol. That’s how easy it was. This pullout is very sturdy. It’s easy to install—the instructions are very good. It glides well. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it reduces the amount of things I could put in the cabinet quite significantly. You should weigh that before ordering.

As my husband and I are aging it has become more and more difficult to get down on our knees to dig things out of the cupboards. We would have to pull everything out to get to things that were not on the front row. It got to the point that we just didn't use a lot of the items that were in the back. When I saw these pull out shelves I thought they were too good to be true. Pros: 1 - they not only feel very sturdy, but they pull out very smoothly. 2 - they pull all the way out so I can get items from the back very easily. 3 - they have a nice ridge to them so the items stay on the shelves. 4 - they were very easy to install. My husband is not a handy man and really doesn't like doing these kinds of tasks around the house. But he loved how well designed they were and how well the directions were written. The template was very helpful. It came with everything you need. After he put them together he put one that holds pot lids together for me with no complaint. When done with that he asked why I didn't order them for all the cupboards. Cons: 1 - If something spills on the top shelf it will make a mess on the bottom shelf too (we put clear mats the size of the pull out shelf on them to help prevent this). So really not a problem. 2 - They come in sizes of every 3 inches. A lot of my cupboards are 17 inches wide. Since I would need an 18 inch opening we either need to order down by 3 inches and have some wasted space or cut a notch out where the shelf slides out (which is what we are going to do with one shelf first) I am so happy with these shelves. We had such a hard time getting to the back of our cupboard that we found that we had duplicate items. Now that we see what we have we will have a lot more space.
