I looked at several different styles of models before I selected this one. I like it because it doesn't take up a lot of space. There are two racks and you can put them side-by-side, or one above the other, or in two different locations like one on the wall and one on a cupboard door. The organization that it brings is wonderful. Previously, my lids were stationed behind the pots, standing up on an edge, trying to keep them out of the way so I could nest my pots and gain more storage space with this strategy. But every time I took a pot out, whether I needed the lid or not, they came tumbling down, making all sorts of noise, and in general being a nuisance. Now all of the lids are in the racks, up out of the way but highly accessible. Oh, and I don't have to sort through the lids any more trying to find the correct size for the pot I was about to use. I only used one. They didn't work well on the inside of the cabinet doors, so I installed one inside the cabinet. They extend quite a bit into the cabinet and were pretty useless for smaller lids. Because of how far it extends into the cabinet, I couldn't use the other one and have my pot & pan organizer in the cabinet. It is very sturdy and strong. Good for large lids and better if space isn't tight (I was buying it to save space and I don't feel it accomplished that goal.) ... show more

I am so pleased to have ordered these. They are smaller than anticipated but that works nicely since I know they will fit in the cabinet well and still be able to hold my pot and pan lids. The screws are a bit too long for the cabinet, if I were to use them they would go through the front of the cabinet. My husband plans on gluing wood or something into the back of the cabinet to make it thicker for installation. Overall, I am very pleased and excited! ... show more

These are really easy to install and I'm grateful they give you two sizes of screws because the shorter ones fit a cabinet door well without punching through the other side. However, my lids don't fit perfectly in the racks. They often fall through. I have 2 different types of lids, too, so I guess it's just a gamble. It's not a big enough problem to return at this point, since they somewhat stay in place, but if I had to do over, I'd get a more sure fit. ... show more

My husband installed these racks side by side on the wall in our laundry room off of the kitchen. I was able to fit 6 large lids into them. They seem to be working well although I rarely use these lids so I don’t insert and remove them often. The racks themselves seem sturdy but time will tell. They are fairly deep and do stick out from the wall more than I had hoped. They seem to work well with 12” lids but the small 1 quart size lid doesn’t seem to work. This is ok with me because I wanted these so the large lids could be organized and easy to get to. I would have liked to insert my glass Corning lids also but we were afraid to put too many “glass heavier” lids into the racks for fear of the anchors pulling out of the wall and falling to the floor and breaking the lids. We couldn’t find a weight restriction on the instructions. The screws included were short and my husband needed to use his own to get them into the studs in one spot. Hopefully the anchors will hold and not come out of the Sheetrock. Therefore my rating of 4 stars. ... show more
