I only put these in the fridge side. Because my shelves are deep, I did have to stack two. I recommend putting the back piece underneath the front piece. It keeps the fridge clean. The place mats will move if the shelf is empty, so the more stuff on the shelf, the better it’s secured! It’s also true to its color. These were split up into pieces like squares small and don’t fit right . The slip grip side doesn’t hold down and some are bent . You have to try to overlap a good amount to cover top shelf but makes it harder to pull things in and out of the fridge

They don’t fit my fridge. Based on the pictures it looked like it would cover the whole shelf and they don’t. To me it was a waste of my money. Might work for someone else though.
