I picked up this comforter set to dress up our guest room, even thought it’s WAY out of my comfort zone. The previous homeowners had painted a single wall purple in this particular room, so I thought this might be a nice complement to that purple wall and my usual silver/grey bedding. It matches beautifully, and looks far more luxurious than the price point would suggest! The comforter is a nice weight and is surprisingly warm, even for our looming Alaskan winter. It’s a little odd that it only comes with pillow shams and not regular pillow cases, but as I am boring and always seem to order silver or grey sheets for the guest room, I plenty of pillow cases that complement this set nicely.
