This gimbal feels nice in your hand… just the right amount of weight you’d expect without being too heavy. GoPro (using GoPro hero 10) connects to gimbal easily. Pairing was also quick and easy. Once set up the buttons and the joystick work as described (read the manual, I’m not gonna tell you how to work it) and I haven’t had any issues. Gimbal functions smoothly. Overall I am satisfied, however I have 2 complaints : 1) the battery door is blocked with the camera in the correct orientation (but this can be fixed by inverting the camera….read the manual) 2) if the camera is inverted, the power button is then obstructed (just mount upright and charge gopro so you don’t need to access charging port) ... show more

    • Feels well made with good stabilization
This gimbal feels pretty sturdy. The HoHem App is responsive and connects quickly. Response between joystick and the gimbal itself is fast. The app offers numerous adjustments you can use for the gimbal i.e. speed control etc. Quick connect for securing your camera to the gimbal frame. You may have issues with how you charge your camera while in the gimbal like if the charge port gets blocked based on how you have to secure the camera to the gimbal. The only disappointing thing is that the listing says the gimbal is compatible with a Hero 3. Well that isn't entirely true. I definitely wouldn't have bought it if I knew you couldn't use the joystick on the gimbal to take photos or stop/start your video. The gimbal works with the Hero 3 but it cannot connect via bluetooth/WiFi to it to use all the features ... show more

I would have given the Gimbal 5 stars only due to the fact that it cannot communicate with my Dji Osmo Action 4. Perhaps "hopefully" a firmware upgrade to accommodate the Dji.

This thing rocks! I use it with an Oslo action camera and it works great. The side port is great as I watch an extension with a mini ball head and audio mic. Great results!!

    • This is a great gimbal! READ THIS!!
So I admit I was kinda dumb. I couldn't find where it said to attach action camera and the shake of the gimbal goes away. IF YOU TURN GIMBAL ON WITHOUT CAMERA ATTACHED IT WILL SHAKE AND SOUND LIKE THE MOTORS ARE GRINDING. Attach the camera and all that goes away. I thought my first one was defective and returned it, only to learn from the replacement gimbal that it was never actually broken. Thank you to the company for sending a new one in record time! It’s a great gimbal for my GoPro 11! ... show more

    • The product didn't work as advertised.
The unit didn't work as advertised, the camera wouldn't connect to the Gimbal. Took the Gimbal and camera on vacation, but became so frustrated with the unit it was never used. When we came home we couldn't return it because to much time had elapsed, and had to go through the seller. The seller has been so difficult to deal with in getting it replaced, at this point it will be easier and less stressful to just put it into the E waste bin. This unit is definitely E waste. UPDATE: 7-20-23 Sent the unit back at the request of the seller, 2 weeks later no response. Cost 14+ dollars to send it to them, so much for PRIME delivery... I wouldn't buy again from this seller. UPDATE: 7-28-23 Seller has told me that they are to busy to read shipping labels to replace the unit, and I have to jump through yet more hoops and send personal information to replace the unit. I find that very disturbing, so I spent 100 dollars on something that I no longer have and cannot get a refund for. Do not use this seller, unless you like frustration and incompetence. After rounds with Amazon, they told me the best course of action was to dispute the charges with my credit card company... Buy at your own risk ... show more

Un producto interesante, ayuda mucho en las grabaciones, se aprovecha mas con camaras que no tienen una estabilizacion tan avanzada. Se recomienda para el uso en camaras de accion de noche y asi desactivar el estabilizador para mejorar la calidad del video. Muy satisfecho con la compra, paquete llego rapido y en excelente estado, bien empacado. La unica observacion es que la caja de fabrica tiene a abultarse, parece no ser del todo el tamaño exacto, el manual lo abulta. ... show more

It works but I took 1 star off because it has issues connecting with my GoPro and I only took 1 star off because I don't know whos' to blame, the iSteady or the GoPro. Sometimes the 2 well connect automatically as advertised but more times than not I need to go into the connection settings of the GoPro and remove and then readd the Isteady for them to connect, it's an annoyance that I have to deal with every time I turn the device on. Aside from from that I like the device. I can use it to change camera modes and start/stop recordings. It comes with case. It also comes with legs to sit it on a table, I guess, but not sure why you would buy this device for any other reason than holding it. Stabilization is pretty good but it could be better. Overall I think it's a decent device but probably should cost a little less. ... show more
