Description

The Hodedah 2-Door Armoire with 2-Drawers is constructed of sturdy, durable, top quality wood. Features a laminated finish in a variety of colors. It has two doors that easily open to a spacious wardrobe. Behind two doors, it is equipped with a hanging garment bar that is the width of closet. The bottom of the closet has two drawers which have metal runners and safety stops that will keep the drawer firmly in place when it is fully opened.

    • AVOID DO NOT BUY, BUYER BEWARE

I am writing this nearly in tears over how frustrating this has been. First, we opened the box to find boards cracked. Not a good sign. The instructions are not here. They're missing. The ones listed on the item page do not match the numbered listed on the boards. We literally can't build this thing. On one manual, the boards are listed as numbers, and on the other all the parts are labeled in letters. We found the number stickers on the boards BUT THEY DO NOT MATCH EITHER INTRUCTION SET. WASTE of money and I doubt I can get a refund because they want the item returned! The problem with this? The box has to be torn apart to get the parts out and I don't know about you, but I don't have boxes that big around to send a non-useable wardrobe back. I am so mad I cannot believe it. I was so excited for this. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. I am currently contacting the manufacture as Amazon will not connect me too a human, so we'll see. Either way, this product is GARABAGE. ... show more

Looks good. Was not difficult to assemble but took some time to do it. Showed up in a tore up box which was disappointing. It ended up having scratches and such on it but nothing to bad. Just hated that I spent so much to end up with a scratched up cabinet. My only complaint is the inside doesnt hold regular sized hangers. I have to turn all my stuff at an angle to close the doors completely. ... show more

They don’t put coat closets in homes anymore. We didn’t even think much about it until we moved in. We debated for a long time on what to do that was affordable and functional. It was big to assemble, but he got it done. For this type of furniture, we are pleased and would purchase again. We now have all of the coats and the kid’s shoes in there and it fit in the space we had. The cat likes to get in the bottom drawer, so she’s happy. Can’t do 5 stars, as I’m not sure of the long term durability. I’d give it 5 for getting all the coats and shoes from being strung all over the house. ... show more

Got my order today and there was no instructions provided. I had to Google the brand to find similar instructions just to end up frustrated and it doesn't say where the big chunky piece goes. I assumed it was for the base but it didn't fit so I just scooted the top into it and then added some support on the bottom so it didn't fall forward. It needs two people to put it together at first and altogether 3 and half hours to put together and place. I didn't want to believe all the bad reviews because I'm on a budget so I bought this and I can say this was the most complicated thing to put together on our own. It's good for what the purpose is but I wish I had a bigger budget to get something worth all the frustration that this caused. Pieces chipped off when the nails didn't keep the pieces in place. This was simple to put together. The instructions were easy to understand. I put it together by myself within 45 mins without any issues. It's extremely heavy in the box - it took everything the UPS driver and myself to unload from the truck to the garage! From there, I removed one piece at a time and took inside to assemble. It looks great, holds quite a bit of clothing, and is sturdy. I did have to get smaller hangers for the couple of suits and jackets I have hanging in it because a normal wooden hanger is a little to wide unless you hang it at an angle, but then you lose a little storage space doing so. ... show more

I ordered two of these wardrobes. One arrived in perfect condition. My husband put it together by himself & was extremely frustrated with the process. So if you have no patience or are not handy with putting furniture together, do not try this on your own. The second wardrobe came with a panel that was broken (pictured) so badly it could not be used. I tried calling the company (Hodedah) & you just cannot get through to a live person at all. I used their website to submit a written request for a replacement panel. They responded quickly & said my request would be processed in 5-7 business days. On day 5 I wanted a status update so I emailed again. I received a response stating I would get a reply in 24-72 hours. After 72 hours with no reply (which was also past the original 7th day) I emailed again. I got an auto response stating my comments had been added to my request. At this point I was extremely frustrated as I am on a time frame with the room these wardrobes are going into. So I decided to file a complaint through the better business bureau. By the next day I got an email from Hodedah, but still no confirmation as to whether or not I was receiving a replacement part which is all I wanted. A couple days later I then received a phone call from an extremely rude & unprofessional woman on behalf of the company. She said I would receive a whole new unit. Well I received my replacement today. It is not a whole new unit. It’s just the panel (also pictured) & not the correct panel at that!! It does not match at all!!! It doesn’t have the wood grain look the wardrobe has. The shade of black does not match. It is just a board that is very obvious they painted black. You can see how the paint dripped due to their lack of caring to paint it right. I am extremely dissatisfied & am just over it which is what they we’re probably hoping for.
